Compensation for Field Trips. Field trips shall be compensated as follows: All field trips shall be paid at the same rates that drivers receives for their regular runs except the trips which cause a bus driver to exceed forty (40) hours per week and all Saturday trips shall be paid at time and one half (1 ½) this rate. Sunday and holiday field trips shall be paid at two (2) times this rate. a. Trips taken on a day during which regular transportation is scheduled but which do not conflict with any portion of the bus driver’s regular runs, the bus driver shall be paid for all actual time on the trip with a minimum of one (1) hour pay guaranteed. If a second trip involving the same school and same location is scheduled within that time block, it will not be considered an additional trip. If the bus driver transports children to an event and then is required to return to pick up the children later (after two and one-half hours (2 ½) lapse) the bus driver will receive another one (1) hour pay guarantee. b. Trips taken on a day during which regular transportation is scheduled which do conflict with a part or all of the bus driver’s regular runs, the bus driver shall be paid at regular rate for that portion of their regular runs actually driven, and for field trip time at their regular rate. However, in no case shall the bus driver be paid less than they would earn if they had remained on their regular daily driving assignment. c. Trips taken on a day when no regular transportation is scheduled: The bus driver shall be paid for the field trip as outlined in a., above. If such trips occur on weekends or holidays, the appropriate premium pay rates apply. In the event of bus drivers transporting passengers to an overnight activity and being required to stay, the bus drivers involved shall be compensated for eight (8) hours per day or actual time spent if over eight (8) hours, at their regular rate of pay (including appropriate premium pay). In addition, they shall be provided with a separate room at the Board’s expense, with meals as provided below. d. If a field trip is cancelled and the bus driver reports, the bus driver will receive a one (1) hour show up pay.

B. FIELD TRIPS 1. Drivers may sign on/off the field trip list no more than two times per year. If a trip or trips has/have already been assigned and you remove yourself or are removed from the list, you shall forfeit those trips. The district transportation department shall provide a form for this purpose. 2. Field trip drivers must have 1 year of bus driving experience for in- county field trips, have driven in ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County for a minimum of 1 year out-of-county field trips. 3. Field trips shall be assigned in the Transportation Department no more than thirty (30) days in advance of the trip. In as much as possible, drivers will be assigned at least three (3) days in advance of the trip. If a trip is assigned with less than four (4) hours’ notice, a refusal shall be excused. 4. Field trip assignments shall be from two (2) seniority lists kept at the bus compound; one for in-county trips and one for out-of -county trips. In the event no in-county driver is available for a trip, an out- of-county driver may be assigned using the seniority list. 5. Trips shall be assigned in seniority order starting with the most senior driver/attendant. Once assigned the next most senior driver/attendant moves up for the next available trip. This process will continue through April of each year. The Association President/designee shall have access to the process and data for verification purposes upon notice to transportation department ahead of time. 6. If the next person on the list refuses or is ptherwise unavailable they shall move to the next person on the list. The hours they would have accumulated shall count in equity of hours. 7. Starting with May trips (April assignments), every effort shall be made to equalize the hours trip drivers/attendants have accumulated. Assignments shall then be given based upon equalizing accumulated hours. This applies to drivers who have been on the trip list all year. All other drivers shall only be assigned through the normal rotation. 8. Bus attendants (not driving) will be paid at their regular hourly rate of pay from the time they are required to report until conclusion of all required duties. Qualified bus attendants who drive trips will be compensated on the same basis as bus operators. c. Bus operators/bus attendants shall serve as chaperones, perform other assigned (related) duties, or otherwise stay with the bus unless directed by the Director of Transportation/designee. Employees will be advised of the additional responsibilities expected of them prior to accepting the trip. Declining a trip under these conditions will not count as a trip refused. d. While on field trips operators shall not leave the class, team, band, or other group after the destination has been reached unless approval has been given by the sponsor/teacher in charge and the sponsor/teacher knows where the operator will be and how to contact him. e. Field trips shall be driven by operators qualified under 6A-3.0141 and 6A-3.

  • Compensation of Executive (a) The Corporation shall pay the Executive as compensation for his services hereunder, in equal semi-monthly or bi-weekly installments during the Term, the sum of $350,000 per annum (as in effect from time to time, the “Base Salary”), less such deductions as shall be required to be withheld by applicable law and regulations. The Corporation shall review the Base Salary on an annual basis and has the right but not the obligation to increase it, but has no right to decrease the Base Salary. (b) In addition to the Base Salary set forth in Section 4(a) above, the Executive shall be entitled to receive an annual cash bonus (“Annual Bonus”) in an amount up to $100,000 if the Corporation meets or exceeds criteria adopted by the Compensation Committee of the Board (the “Compensation Committee”) for earning Bonuses, which criteria shall be adopted by the Compensation Committee annually after consultation with the Executive and which criteria must be reasonably likely to be attainable. Annual Bonuses shall be paid by the Corporation to the Executive promptly after the year end, it being understood that the Compensation Committee’s determinations concerning attainment of any financial targets associated with any bonus determination shall not be determined until following the completion of the Corporation’s annual audit, if any, but in no event later than April 15th of the year following the year for which it is being paid (and if the Executive was employed as of last day of the calendar year to which such Annual Bonus relates, then the Executive shall be entitled to the Annual Bonus for such year, even if he is not employed by the Corporation on the date the Annual Bonus is paid for such last year). The Compensation Committee may provide for lesser or greater percentage Annual Bonus payments for Executive upon achievement of partial or additional criteria established or determined by the Compensation Committee from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, if Executive is employed upon expiration of the term of this Agreement, he shall be entitled to the Annual Bonus for such last year on a pro-rata basis through the last date of employment, even if he is not employed by the Corporation on the date the Annual Bonus is paid for such last year. In his sole discretion, the Executive may elect to receive such annual bonus in common stock of the Corporation at the basis determined by the Compensation Committee in good faith. (c) The Corporation shall pay or reimburse the Executive for all reasonable out-of-pocket expenses actually incurred or paid by the Executive in the course of his employment, consistent with the Corporation’s policy for reimbursement of expenses from time to time. (d) The Executive shall be entitled to participate in such pension, profit sharing, group insurance, hospitalization, and group health and benefit plans and all other benefits and plans, including perquisites, if any, as the Corporation provides to its senior executives, including group family health insurance coverage, which shall be paid by the Corporation (the “Benefit Plans”). If at any time during the Term, the Corporation does not provide its senior executives with health insurance (including hospitalization) under a Benefit Plan, Executive shall be entitled to secure such health insurance for himself and his immediate family (i.e., spouse and natural born children) and the Corporation shall reimburse Executive for the cost of such insurance promptly after payment by the Executive for such insurance. For the avoidance of doubt, Executive shall be entitled to secure health insurance from high quality companies such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United, or Emblem, and the ability to select a no or low deductible plan. If Executive secures such health insurance, such health insurance shall be deemed to be a Benefit Plan hereunder. (e) The Corporation shall execute and deliver in favor of the Executive an indemnification agreement on the same terms and conditions entered into with the other officers and directors of the Corporation. Such agreement shall provide for the indemnification of the Executive for the term of his employment and for a period of at least six (6) years thereafter. The Corporation shall maintain directors’ and officers’ insurance during the Term and for a period of at least six (6) years thereafter. (f) The Corporation shall also maintain (or hire, if applicable) a New York City based executive assistant to assist the Executive with his duties.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 111. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above designated or observed holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional ▇▇▇'s pay at time-and-one-half the usual rate (i.e. 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked) or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked.
