Configuration Control. Minor Deviations: (1) The contractor shall submit the deviation to NSWC DD for review & approval. (2) If NSWC DD concurs in classification, the deviation will be boarded at NSWC DD CCB for approval or disapproval. (3) If NSWC DD does not concur in classification, the Contractor shall cancel the minor deviation The Contractor shall submit for review and approval all specification changes to NSWC DD for review and approval.
Configuration Control. (a) Seller shall make no change in design, materials, manufacturing location, manufacturing process, assembly processes, or source of supply, after approval of the first production test item or after acceptance of the first completed end item, without Buyer’s written approval. If Seller makes any changes in the design, materials, manufacturing location, manufacturing process, assembly processes, or source of supply after approval of the first production test item or after acceptance of the first completed end item and the change was the initiated by the Seller, all re-qualification costs will be the responsibility of the Seller. Seller agrees that any approval by Buyer of the first production test item or any acceptance by ▇▇▇▇▇ of the first completed end item shall not in any way relieve Seller from performing all requirements of this Contract, including Seller's obligations under ¶ 9, WARRANTY. (b) Seller shall furnish military standard hardware to the drawing revision level contained in the technical data package(s) issued to Seller for performing the Contract. If no revision level is specified, parts must be supplied to the latest revision level established by government agencies as of the date of this Contract. (c) Should Seller decide to discontinue manufacture of the Goods purchased by Buyer under this Contract, Seller shall: (i) provide written notice to Buyer of the intended supply discontinuance; and (ii) provide Buyer a minimum of twelve (12) months from the written notification date to allow Buyer to place final “lifetime buy” Purchase Orders for the Goods at a unit price to be negotiated, but in no event higher than the unit price provided in this Contract. Seller’s obligations under this clause shall extend for thirty (30) years beyond the effective date of this Contract, irrespective of whether the Contract is completed/terminated within the thirty (30) year period. Configuration Control. With the exception of mandatory changes directed by a recognized Governmental Agency and not excluding the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Seller shall make no change in design, manufacturing or assembly processes or source of supply which would affect form, fit, function, weight, or performance of the Products ordered hereunder without the express, written approval of Cirrus. In the event the Seller proposes such a change, the Seller shall provide a copy of the proposed revision and supporting Data to Cirrus for written approval. These design changes shall include the reason for and description of change, serial number(s) affected and effective date of the change. Changes requiring the issuance of a service bulletin or service information letter shall be fully documented including illustrations as applicable. Should Seller fail to obtain Cirrus' written approval prior to delivering such modified Product(s), Cirrus may reject the Product(s) and seek all applicable rights and remedies; and the delivery of non-conforming Products shall be treated as if delivery has not occurred, and Seller shall be considered delinquent to its obligation to delivery in strict compliance with the schedule contained in an Order. The obligations of this Paragraph shall survive the cancellation, termination, or completion of any Orders or this Agreement.

Configuration Control. The Seller shall not make changes to the technical documentation, specifications or drawings referenced by the Buyer purchase order without prior written approval by the Buyer. Buyer Quality Assurance Requirements. Quality Requirements (QR) in accordance with Form No. 20-09-08-2, with all their terms and conditions, become an integral part of the purchase order. Those QR clauses that are specifically applicable are listed on the face of the purchase order. Seller conformance to the specifically referenced QR shall be maintained at all times.

This information shall also be provided to HQ AMC/A34BC and HQ AMC/A3V. The contractor shall provide a representative name, office and telephone number to the AESS installation contractor annually or whenever a change in personnel occurs. This representative shall be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the AESS drawings with the contractor responsible for installation of the AE shipments.
