Direct Management. 1a Generally the Partnership Management Group will be responsible for the management of the Service in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 6. In managing the Service, the Joint Operational Manager shall maintain an awareness and knowledge of the Council’s and the Health Board’s policies and procedures so far as they relate to the Service and ensure that the Service is managed so as to comply with the requirements of both agencies’ policies. 1b The Joint Operational Manager will be accountable to the Head of Adult Services who will in turn be accountable to the Corporate Director for Social Services and Well-being. 1c The Joint Operational Manager will be supported and supervised by the Group Manager for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities within the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate. The Joint Operational Manager will provide an appropriate level of supervision to all staff having regard to their level of responsibility, experience and competence.
