Level of Responsibility. An employee at this level will operate under general direction for the whole job. Individual tasks will be completed according to clear, set procedures and standards. An employee will be responsible for the quality of work within these limits. The employee will also be responsible for identifying and solving problems, which occur in the work process the Level 3 worker, is directly responsible for and for identifying and reporting problems outside own work process.
Level of Responsibility. An employee at this wage group: (A) will work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment, with checking of their work related to overall progress; (B) may be responsible for the work of others through the monitoring role; (C) will be responsible for work outcomes regarding quantity and quality in their own area, including their own work and the work of others; (D) will be required to exercise discretion in the planning and carrying out of work where there is some complexity in extent and choice of actions required; (E) will be responsible, with others, for identifying and solving problems in their work areas; (F) will be responsible for identifying and reporting problems in other work areas where they affect activity in their own work area; (G) if supervising others they will be responsible for initiating, co-ordinating and monitoring problem solving in own work area; (H) will inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards; (I) will conduct training in conjunction with a skilled trainer as required; and (J) may be required to supervise others in wage groups in the training situation.
Level of Responsibility. In addition to those outlined for Levels 1 and 2, a Level 3 employee will be responsible for the following:- i. To operate under general direction for the whole job. ii. To ensure individual tasks will be completed according to clear, set procedures and standards. iii. To be responsible for identifying and solving problems which occur in the work process they are directly responsible for, and in conjunction with others for identifying and solving problems in their work area. iv. For identifying and reporting problems outside their own work process. v. To be responsible for the quality of their work within these limits.

Level of Responsibility. An employee at this wage group: (A) will work under direct supervision either individually or in a team environment, with regular checking of their work; (B) will be responsible for the quality of their own work subject to supervision; (C) will apply their knowledge and skills to a limited range of tasks and roles within a specified range of contexts; (D) will work within established routines, according to clear, set procedures and standards; (E) will exercise discretion and judgement against established criteria within level of skills and training and the scope of the Wage group; (F) will operate flexibly between work stations and machines; (G) will be responsible for identifying and solving problems which occur in the work process they are directly responsible for and for identifying and reporting problems outside their own work processes; (H) will be responsible for keeping their own work area safe and clean; and (I) may assist skilled trainers in the provision of on the job training.

Level of Responsibility. An employee at this level is responsible for: • supervision of medical employees in accordance with established procedures; • a level of clinical privileges determined by the relevant hospital clinical privileges committee; • administrative and/or clinical functions as determined by the medical employees to whom they are assigned; • adherence to agency and professional standards and protocols. An employee at this level: • would have acquired considerable professional experience and would be able to exercise a high degree of professional judgement; • is expected to make a considerable contribution to decisions and recommendations affecting the initiation, continuation, development and conduct of departmental programs; • participate in the evaluation of new concepts and approaches for the solution of complex health issues Clinicians at this level may also: • receive only limited supervision and general direction; • be required to teach and supervise lower classified employees and provide advice relevant to their speciality; • be responsible for decision making within their work area; • be required to participate in an out of hours specialist roster.
