DISLOCATION ALLOWANCE. ‌ Faculty whose class and course assignment, per Section 6.11 consists of course(s) offered away from the main campus, shall be given the following additional considerations: A. a dislocation allowance of twenty (20) cents per mile for each trip shall be added to the faculty member's remuneration for those regularly scheduled classes which are held more than fifty (50) miles from campus. The dislocation allowance shall be calculated on a round trip mileage to and from the class offering(s) based on the state's mileage chart; B. a faculty member's load for the semester will reflect the regularly scheduled credits taught on-campus and off-campus; C. consideration regarding scheduling and classes will be made to include time between offerings, distance of travel and faculty members' teaching loads; and D. a faculty member teaching off campus during any given semester as part of regular load will not be required to teach more than a twelve (12) credit load for his/her total assignment for that semester. This allowance does not apply to supervision or internship classes.
DISLOCATION ALLOWANCE. Selkirk College is a multi-campus institution. Employees may be required to transfer from campus to campus where instructional needs demand. Transfer to a campus twenty-five (25) or more kilometres further from the employeespermanent residence shall be reimbursed by the College for moving expenses which shall include the cost of moving and insuring the move of furniture and personal effects, temporary accommodation at the new location for a maximum of one month, the cost of service disconnections and connections, real estate fees incurred in the sale of previous residence, rental penalties, legal title search and transfer fees on the purchase of a new residence. To be eligible to receive the dislocation allowance, employees must notify the College in writing of their intentions to relocate as a result of a transfer to another campus within 12 months of the date of their first day of work at the new location. Employees will be eligible to claim the dislocation allowance for a period of two (2) years from the first day of work at the new location.

  • Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.

  • Vacation Allowance Employees in permanent positions are entitled to vacation with pay. Accrual is based upon straight time hours of working time per calendar month of service and begins on the date of appointment to a permanent position. Increased accruals begin on the first of the month following the month in which the employee qualifies. Accrual for portions of a month shall be in minimum amounts of one (1) hour calculated on the same basis as for partial month compensation pursuant to Section 5.8 (Salary Reallocation and Salary Reallocation) of this MOU. Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.

  • Separation Allowance Should it become necessary to close the plant or a portion of the plant and it is not expected that those affected will be re-employed, a separation allowance will be paid to employees subject to the following:

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare.
