Early Call Sample Clauses

An Early Call clause grants one party, typically the issuer in a financial agreement, the right to redeem or terminate the contract or instrument before its scheduled maturity date. In practice, this means the issuer can choose to repay the principal and any applicable interest to the holder ahead of time, often after a specified notice period or under certain conditions. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility to the issuer, allowing them to manage interest costs or respond to changing market conditions, while also introducing the risk for the holder that the investment may end sooner than anticipated.
