EXISTING LAW Sample Clauses

The EXISTING LAW clause defines that the interpretation and enforcement of the contract are subject to the laws that are currently in effect at the time the agreement is executed. In practice, this means that any changes to relevant statutes or regulations after the contract is signed do not retroactively alter the parties' rights or obligations under the agreement. This clause provides certainty and stability by ensuring that both parties are governed by a known legal framework, thereby reducing the risk of unforeseen legal changes impacting their contractual relationship.
