Typically, this clause outlines how pay rates increase as employees reach certain experience milestones or possess specific qualifications, such as years of service or industry certifications. Its core practical function is to reward and incentivize experienced employees, helping to attract and retain skilled personnel while ensuring pay structures reflect expertise and tenure.
