The "Incremental steps" clause outlines a process by which a project or contractual obligation is completed in defined, sequential phases or milestones. 4.1.1 The Ministry has 2% incremental steps from 85% to 101% of the pay ranges in all pay ranges covered by the Collective Employment Agreement as set out in Appendix B.

A new employee who works as a regular employee from February 1 through the end of his/her scheduled work year, or who works as a regular employee more than one hundred twenty-five (125) scheduled work days from September 1 through August 31, is eligible for an incremental step. In the event a merchant investigation does result in a true MATCH, steps will need to be outlined such as proper notification to Paymentech within 3 Business Days along with steps communicated to terminate the Merchant or decline the prospective merchant. In the event USA Tech decides to terminate a Merchant which meets MATCH criteria, USA Tech must notify Paymentech with (3) Business Days and provide the required information detailed by MATCH requirements.
