Owned Devices. If an employee uses a personally owned device to access district technology or conduct district business, he/she shall abide by all applicable Board policies, administrative regulations, and this Acceptable Use Agreement. Any such use of a personally owned device may subject the contents of the device and any communications sent or received on the device to disclosure pursuant to a lawful subpoena or public records request.
Owned Devices. Individuals may use their own personal electronic devices on the (school suffix)schoolguest network. When using a personal mobile device, all of the above conditions apply, in addition to the following: • I realize that by registering/using my personal device on the (school suffix)schoolguest network, the device can be monitored and my computing activities can be traced back to me. • I will only connect to the wireless network, and not the wired network or any other external network, even though other networks from the neighborhood might be visible to me. • I will ensure my personal device is equipped with current virus protection software if supported by the device. • I will turn off all peer-to-peer sharing (music/video/gaming) software or web-hosting services on my device while connected to the (school suffix)schoolguest network. • I will use my personal electronic device appropriately during class/business time. During non-instructional/non- work times, students and staff may use their personal electronic devices providing that they adhere to the expectations of this agreement. • I understand the security, care, connectivity, and maintenance of my device is my responsibility. • I understand EIPS is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of my device. • I understand technical support for my personal electronic devices is my responsibility. I have explained the purpose of EIPS’ Responsible Technology Use Agreement to the student named below. In addition, he/she has been informed about his/her responsibility in properly using the Internet for educational purposes and what penalties will result in his/her inappropriate use of the Internet. Owned Devices. As the employee: I agree the equipment is to be used primarily for official business and that any personal use of the equipment will be incidental in nature. I am responsible for safeguarding the equipment, including any data on the equipment.

  • Apple and Android Devices The following terms apply when you use a mobile application obtained from either the Apple Store or Google Play (each an “App Distributor”) to access the Site: (1) the license granted to you for our mobile application is limited to a non-transferable license to use the application on a device that utilizes the Apple iOS or Android operating systems, as applicable, and in accordance with the usage rules set forth in the applicable App Distributor’s terms of service; (2) we are responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the mobile application as specified in the terms and conditions of this mobile application license contained in these Terms of Use or as otherwise required under applicable law, and you acknowledge that each App Distributor has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the mobile application; (3) in the event of any failure of the mobile application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify the applicable App Distributor, and the App Distributor, in accordance with its terms and policies, may refund the purchase price, if any, paid for the mobile application, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App Distributor will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the mobile application; (4) you represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a “terrorist supporting” country and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties; (5) you must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the mobile application, e.g., if you have a VoIP application, then you must not be in violation of their wireless data service agreement when using the mobile application; and (6) you acknowledge and agree that the App Distributors are third-party beneficiaries of the terms and conditions in this mobile application license contained in these Terms of Use, and that each App Distributor will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce the terms and conditions in this mobile application license contained in these Terms of Use against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

  • Safety Devices All Products provided under the Contract shall be equipped with required safety devices to comply with all applicable codes, laws, and regulations that are in effect at the time of delivery.

  • Removable media devices All electronic files that contain County PHI or PI data must be encrypted when stored on any removable media or portable device (i.e. USB thumb drives, floppies, CD/DVD, smartphones, backup tapes etc.). Encryption must be a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as AES.

  • Devices BNY Mellon will restrict the transfer of Customer Data from its network to mass storage devices. BNY Mellon will use a mobile device management system or equivalent tool when mobile computing is used to provide the services. Applications on such authenticated devices will be housed within an encrypted container and BNY Mellon will maintain the ability to remote wipe the contents of the container.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If WCS chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, WCS’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by WCS to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 WCS shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from WCS’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office WCS utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow WCS’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.
