Pathway. Upon successful completion of the first 2 years of the Bachelor of Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in the following programmes : • Bio-Medical Engineering • Computer Engineering • Students must achieve the required Grade Point Average of 7.0/10.0 for admission to the Bachelor of Engineering at the end of 2 years at TIET. • In case the student is unable to meet the minimum academic requirements or is unable to transfer for any unforeseen reason(s), he/she will undertake the whole program at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in the discipline that he/she would have got as normal candidate (parent branch) on the basis of preference order or merit. Such students will pay fee as applicable to regular TIET students for the remaining period of programme. • Students are responsible for completing all necessary administrative procedures in order to obtain a visa and the required documents for studying abroad. • All students are required to carry appropriate overseas students health insurance (OSHC). Students from TIET attending UToledo will be assessed standard tuition and fees including the out-of-state surcharge and “Tuition Guarantee” commensurate to the term of enrollment. Students who meet academic eligibility requirements to the open program of their choice at the time of transferring to UToledo, will be granted the International Student Scholarship Students will be responsible for paying all other fees and expenses, including but not limited to tuition, living expenses, fees associated with the acquisition of a visa and other expenses while in the U.S., and other related expenses. Pathway. The Pathway is expected to involve students studying a total of two (2) years/ Four (4) semesters fulltime at TIET (TIET Requirements) and a minimum of four (4) semesters fulltime at UNSW, subject to them satisfying progression requirements at all stages. Students who have successfully completed the TIET Requirements will commence their studies at UNSW in the third year of the UNSW Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) program and will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) by UNSW, on completion of all remaining UNSW requirements. • UNSW currently allows a maximum permissible credit transfer of 96 Units of Credit (UoC) (equivalent to 2 academic years fulltime) of the course credits for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) program at UNSW. Students commencing at UNSW are strongly advised to attend the academic Orientation Program at UNSW, which is organized by Student Development International. This preparation program provides students with a wealth of useful information including: ● UNSW - its administration and services ● Getting to know Australia and its learning culture ● How to live within your budget ● Finding accommodation and other similar topics. Students may, if they wish, attend at their own expense a pre-session English for Academic Purposes Program, run by the UNSW Institute of Languages. This five (5) week program usually operates one (1) month prior to session start. This must be arranged by the applicants directly with the UNSW Institute of Languages. Pathway. Forward Articulation (completing AS degree in Applied Health Sciences at BHSU and transferring to USD to complete the Bachelor of Science with a major in Dental Hygiene)
A. Students may elect to participate in dual advising from BHSU and USD while completing the BHSU AS in Applied Health Sciences program in preparation for the USD Bachelor of Science with a major in Dental Hygiene. Students should work jointly with their BHSU and USD advisors to ensure they have met the requirements for the BHSU AS in Applied Health Sciences and all application requirements for the USD Bachelor of Science with a major in Dental Hygiene, including completing shadowing hours for dental office experience.
B. Students are eligible to apply to the USD Department of Dental Hygiene when they have completed, or have enrolled in, all requirements of the AS in Applied Health Sciences program at BHSU as defined in this agreement, by the application deadline. If accepted to the program, USD will accept all courses from the AS in Applied Health Sciences degree. Students must successfully complete the AS degree in Applied Health Sciences from BHSU prior to transferring to USD. Transferable general education coursework and other pre-dental hygiene requirements will be accepted.

A. USD Nursing major courses NURS 311 and NURS 315 may count toward the completion of the AS in Applied Health Sciences as electives.
B. Students may elect to participate in dual advising from BHSU and USD while completing the BHSU AS in Applied Health Sciences program in preparation for the USD Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
C. Upon successful completion of the requirements of the AS in Applied Health Sciences at BHSU, they will graduate with an AS in Applied Health Sciences and are eligible to apply to the USD Department of Nursing. At the time of acceptance into the program, USD will accept all courses from the AS in Applied Health Sciences degree. Students must successfully complete the AS degree in Applied Health Sciences from BHSU prior to transferring to USD. Pathway. ACCESS EASEMENT AND AGREEMENT
Pathway. Forward Articulation (completing the LPN diploma at STC and transferring to USD to complete the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
A. Upon successful completion of the requirements of the LPN diploma at STC, and LPN licensure, they are eligible to apply to the USD Department of Nursing. Upon successful completion of the requirements of the LPN diploma program, students may transfer to USD to complete the BS in Nursing. At that time, USD will accept a block of 30 technical course credits from the LPN diploma. Students must successfully complete the LPN diploma from STC, and obtain LPN licensure, prior to transferring to USD for the technical course credits to be accepted. Transferable general education coursework in addition to the 30 technical course block credits will also be accepted.

Pathway. Forward Articulation (completing AS degree in Addiction and Diversity Counseling at SWC and transferring to USD to complete the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Addiction Counseling and Prevention)
A. Students may elect to participate in dual advising from SWC and USD while completing the AS in Addiction and Diversity Counseling in preparation for the USD ACP program. Students should work jointly with their advisors to ensure all requirements are met for the BS degree from USD.
B. Students are eligible to apply to the USD Addiction Counseling and Prevention Department for admission into the program when they have completed all the course requirements for the AS in Addiction and Diversity Counseling from SWC and have met all additional program admission criteria. Once accepted into the ACP program, USD will accept all General Education (32 cr hrs) and Foundational Course credits (18 cr hrs) from this AS degree. Students must successfully complete the AS degree from SWC prior to transferring to USD. A BS degree with a major in Addiction Counseling and Prevention will be conferred when all remaining courses are completed.
