B. Protect unit pavers and aggregate during storage and construction against soilage or contamination from earth and other materials.
C. Sand shall be covered with waterproof covering to prevent exposure to rainfall or removal by wind. The covering shall be secured in place.
D. Unused pavers shall be palletized and wrapped in plastic or other packaging materials that will prevent rust marks from steel strapping.
E. During paver removal, remove pavers by hand and clean them of mortar, grout, or sand. Protect pavers at work site from theft, breakage, and damage. Store pavers on site in secure, locked area.
PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING. 8.1. Site has limited spaces for storage, only delivery of materials agreed upon by the Construction Manager will be allowed. Comply with Construction Manager’s allocations.
8.2. Schedule delivery of products & removal of material with Construction Manager.
8.3. Make available areas for storage of products and construction equipment to meet specified requirements, and to ensure a minimum of interference with progress of the Work and relocations.
8.4. Trade Contractor to provide flag persons, traffic signals, barricades and flares/lights/lanterns as required to perform the Work and to protect the public.

b. Protect all materials from weather. In particular, insulation and roofing membranes must be kept absolutely dry and only as much removed from storage as can be applied and made watertight in the same day.
