Role of the Coordinator. Except as specifically provided in the Finance Documents, the Coordinator has no obligations of any kind to any other Party in connection with any Finance Document.

The Coordinator, assisted by the Industry Technical Panel, shall prepare a working and finance plan concerning the planned activities until submission of the Registration Dossier, in particular concerning development of information stated in Articles 5 and 6. A preliminary working and financial plan will be presented at the first meeting of the Steering Committee and updated every six months. The initial working and financial plan as well as its subsequent updates shall be agreed and adopted by the Steering Committee. In addition, the Coordinator will have the following tasks: - Consortium Agreement: collection of signed agreements, updating of agreement, collection of fees. - Preparation of the budget - Contracts, invoices (consultants, peer review experts, researchers) - Consortium day to day running - Organisation of the meetings of the Coordination Team, Industry Technical Panel, Steering Committee and General Assembly. - Minutes of the meetings - Ensure follow-up of action points

Role of the Coordinator. I.3.1 The Coordinator shall: a) have full responsibility for ensuring that the project is implemented in accordance with the agreement; b) be the intermediary for all communication between the consortium partners and the Participant. Any claims that the Participant might have in respect of the agreement shall be addressed to, and answered by, the Coordinator, save where specifically stated otherwise in the agreement; c) be responsible for supplying all documents and information to the Participant which may be required under the agreement. The Coordinator shall not delegate any part of this task to the consortium partners or to any other Party. Where information from the consortium partners is required, the Coordinator shall be responsible for obtaining this information and for passing it on to the Participant; d) inform the consortium partners and the Participant of any event of which the Coordinator is aware that is liable to substantially affect the implementation of the project; e) as sole recipient of payments on behalf of all of the consortium partners, ensure that all the appropriate payments are made to the consortium partners without unjustified delay in accordance with Article I.8.3 and shall, with the annual report of the project submitted in accordance with Article I.7, inform the Participant of the distribution of the participation fee between the members of the Consortium and of the date of transfer; f) be responsible, in the event of audits or checks as described in Articles II.13, for providing all the necessary documents, including the accounts of the consortium partners, the accounting documents and signed copies of sub-contracts, if any have been concluded by the Coordinator in accordance with Article II.7.
Role of the Coordinator. The Parties convened that the position of Coordinator shall be taken over by Inserm appointing Pr ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ as project coordinator (hereinafter “Project Coordinator”) of the Project. The Coordinator shall be the intermediary between the Parties and shall perform all tasks assigned to it as described in this Consortium Agreement. The Coordinator shall, in addition to its responsibilities as a Party, perform the tasks assigned to it as described in the Grant Agreement and this Consortium Agreement. In particular, the Coordinator shall be responsible for: - monitoring compliance by the Parties with their obligations; - keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available; - collecting, reviewing to verify consistency and submitting reports, other deliverables (including financial statements and related certifications) and specific requested documents to the Parties upon request by the Funding Authority; - preparing the meetings, proposing decisions and preparing the agenda of the Steering Committee meetings, chairing the meetings, preparing the minutes of the meetings and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings; - transmitting documents and information connected with the Project to any Party concerned ; - providing, upon request, the Parties with official copies or originals of documents that are in the sole possession of the Coordinator when such copies or originals are necessary for the Parties to present claims. Each Party is responsible to timely submit any technical or financial reports to the Funding Authority, if applicable. If the Project Coordinator fails in its coordination tasks, the Steering Committee may propose to change the Project Coordinator. The Coordinator shall not be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any Party or of the consortium, unless explicitly stated otherwise this Consortium Agreement. The Coordinator shall not enlarge its role beyond the tasks specified in this Consortium Agreement. In the event that an impediment prevents the Project Coordinator from performing his duties, the Coordinator will designate another person to assume such duties. If for any reason whatsoever, the Coordinator is no longer in a position to assume such role, the Parties will endeavor to find a replacement solution by mutual agreement. If no solution is found within sixty (60) days, this agreement will be terminated under the conditions provided in section 11.

Related to Role of the Coordinator

  • Service Coordinators Each Party has designated an employee or title as the key contact for the day-to-day implementation or monitoring of each Service as specified in the applicable Transition Service Schedule (each, a “Service Coordinator”). The Parties shall direct communications relating to specific Services to the applicable Service Coordinators. The Service Coordinators shall report to the Transition Committee from time to time, as directed by the members of the Transition Committee designated by the applicable Party.

  • Project Coordinator The Project Coordinator coordinates and manages the Project and represents the Participants before Stichting LSH-TKI. Participants appoint [Participant] as Project Coordinator and authorize Mr/Mrs ……….. to carry out the tasks set forth under this Section 6.7 and Section 6.8. In particular, the Project Coordinator shall be responsible for: preparing the meetings, proposing decisions and preparing the agenda of Project Committee chairing the meetings, preparing the minutes of the meetings and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings; monitoring compliance by the Participants with their obligations; keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available; collecting and reviewing information on the progress of the Project and submitting outline scientific reports and other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification), if required, to Stichting LSH-TKI and other Participants; transmitting promptly documents and information connected with the Project; administration of the Budget and fulfilling the financial tasks, all as described in Article 7; providing, upon request, the Participants with official copies or originals of documents which are in the sole possession of the Project Coordinator when such copies or originals are necessary for the Participants to present claims. The Project Coordinator shall not be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Participant.

  • Scheduling Coordinator Buyer shall act as the Scheduling Coordinator for the Project. In that regard, Buyer and Seller shall agree to the following:

  • Coordinator 6.4.1 The Coordinator shall be the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority and shall perform all tasks assigned to it as described in the Grant Agreement and in this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.2 In particular, the Coordinator shall be responsible for: - monitoring compliance by the Parties with their obligations - keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available - collecting, reviewing to verify consistency and submitting reports, other deliverables (including financial statements and related certifications) and specific requested documents to the Funding Authority - transmitting documents and information connected with the Project to any other Parties concerned - administering the financial contribution of the Funding Authority and fulfilling the financial tasks described in Section 7.3 - providing, upon request, the Parties with official copies or originals of documents which are in the sole possession of the Coordinator when such copies or originals are necessary for the Parties to present claims. If one or more of the Parties is late in submission of any project deliverable, the Coordinator may nevertheless submit the other parties’ project deliverables and all other documents required by the Grant Agreement to the Funding Authority in time. 6.4.3 If the Coordinator fails in its coordination tasks, the General Assembly may propose to the Funding Authority to change the Coordinator. 6.4.4 The Coordinator shall not be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Party or of the consortium, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the Grant Agreement or this Consortium Agreement 6.4.5 The Coordinator shall not enlarge its role beyond the tasks specified in this Consortium Agreement and in the Grant Agreement. The Coordinator is authorised to execute with each member of the EEAB a non-disclosure agreement, which terms shall be not less stringent than those stipulated in this Consortium Agreement, no later than 30 calendar days after their nomination or before any confidential information will be exchanged, whichever date is earlier. The Coordinator shall write the minutes of the EEAB meetings and prepare the implementation of the EEAB's suggestions. The EEAB members shall be allowed to participate in General Assembly meetings upon invitation but have not any voting rights.]
