The Scanning Services clause defines the terms under which one party provides document or image scanning services to another. It typically outlines the scope of services, such as the types of materials to be scanned, quality standards, delivery formats, and turnaround times. This clause ensures both parties have a clear understanding of expectations and responsibilities, reducing the risk of disputes over service quality or deliverables.
Scanning Services. The Company shall maintain the following requirements in performing Scanning Services:
Scanning Services. During the term of this Agreement, SCA will make available to Restrac the resume scanning services described in Exhibit A to this Agreement (the "Scanning Services"), in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. Resumes will be shipped in batches ("Resume Batches") directly from the Restrac end user ("End User") to SCA and SCA will perform the Scanning- Services on each page of resume text and such other PAGES of text as are specified by the End User ("Resume Page"),and return the resulting resume text and image files on a zip floppy disk (or such substitute or replacement media as Restrac and SCA shall mutually agree) ("Zip Files") to Restrac within minimum response times set forth in Section 3 below, ("Response Times").
Scanning Services o $1.00 + .50 per page for open and scan requests.
Scanning Services. The support of "high volume" scanners (and associated software) and manufacturer support to enable the Authority to deliver data scanning services to its customers. "High volume" means the capability to scan in excess of 800 million images per year. Any storage servers needed for the scanners/software will be provided as part of the Operational Services. The management of the scanners and software, including the provision of support and maintenance services for the scanners and the associated software. The support and maintenance services shall include fixing equipment, the provision of replacement parts, the provision of second line support for scanners and associated software (obtaining third line support for scanners and associated software from the manufacturer as necessary). The Authority's Service Desk will provide first line support.
Scanning Services. 3.2.1 The Supplier shall have the ability to transfer varying volumes of paper Records into a digital format within set timescales, as specified by Contracting Authorities. 3.2.2 The Supplier shall have the ability and capacity to deliver Bulk Scanning requirements, during periods of high demands and within the timescales, as specified by Contracting Authorities at Call Off stage. 3.2.3 The Supplier shall retrieve Physical Records from their location and deliver them to the location at which they shall be Scanned, when requested by Contracting Authorities. 3.2.4 The Supplier shall provide secure, tracked transport for the transportation of Physical Records from Contracting Authorities location to the Supplier’s premises, when requested. 3.2.5 The Supplier shall provide the following transport options: 2 hour delivery, same day delivery, next day delivery and one week delivery, as specified by Contracting Authorities at Call Off stage. 3.2.6 The Supplier shall provide short term storage facilities for Physical Records that are scheduled to be scanned as part of the Scanning activity. Timescales shall be agreed between the Supplier and Contracting Authorities. 3.2.7 The Supplier shall minimise the period of which Physical Records are stored as part of the Scanning Service. 3.2.8 The Supplier shall securely encrypt all Data received in relation to Records and allow secure access to the Data by Contracting Authorities when requested. 3.2.9 The Supplier shall ensure that all appropriate security clearances are in place for the Supplier’s personnel who have access to Physical and Digital Records and Data. 3.2.10 The Supplier shall save scanned documents and shall have the ability to record, catalogue or number images. The format for the scanned documents will be specified by Contracting Authorities at the Call Off stage. This shall include but shall not be limited to Portable Document Format (PDF). 3.2.11 The Supplier shall have the tools, processes, procedures and resource to accommodate original documents in many formats including, but not limited to:  hand written notes;  A0 wallcharts through to A5, mono and colour documentation;  Microform files e.g. Microfilm or Microfiche;  bound notebooks - bound documents may need to be dis-assembled to facilitate this process, and subsequently re-bound or securely destroyed; and 3.2.12 The Supplier shall transfer scanned Records onto a 1tb Hard Drive, DVD/CD and/or USB, where required by Contracting Authorities.
Scanning Services. If Client chooses to have Operator open and scan the contents of its mail, Client agrees that, unless specifically requested in writing to discard mail, Operator will forward the accumulated mail, one time per month, at the then published service rates. Hourly Meeting Room and Day Office Use: Client will be required to use Operator’s online booking system or submit a request via email to reserve space. Space is available on a first- come, first-served basis. Cancellation of any booking must be made 24 hours prior to commencement or Client will be charged the full amount of the booking or have its credit value deducted. All bookings will be invoiced a minimum of one full hour and then in subsequent full hour increments. An allotment of credits (to be used against hourly use of meeting rooms and open desk coworking) are available for purchase or included in some service plans. Credits are NOT transferable and expire at the end of the calendar month if not used; Client or pre-identified Users must be present at all meetings. Overage may be charged at a discounted rate depending on Client’s service plan. Network and Internet Connectivity: Operator will provide Client with access to the internet in the form of a shared fiber gateway. The standard shared fiber connection is available for individual internet access for all Operator’s clients using secured VLANS for wired connectivity
Scanning Services. The provisions of this Section 9 shall apply to any document scanning services provided by Company that are not covered under a separate written agreement between the parties. Client agrees Company will not be liable for any of the following: (a) minor wear or damage to documents while preparing documents for the scanning process, including but not limited to wear or damage caused by removal of staples, paperclips, binders, or any other type of fastening device, or the unfolding of documents as required to enable such items to be fed through an automatic document feeder (“ADF”) or to fit on a flatbed scanner; or (b) minor wear or damage to documents during the scanning process, including but not limited to any wear or damage documents may experience while moving through an ADF. Company shall be entitled to follow the instructions of an Authorized Representative regarding the transmission method of any scanned documents, provided that Company makes no representation or warranty regarding the security, quality, availability or timeliness of any such transmission method. Company may provide online access to Client for purposes of storing, organizing, and viewing digital images. Company shall not be responsible for system downtime, security issues or unavailability of any such system caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Company, including but not limited to issues related to disruptions or compromise in electric, natural gas, water, Internet or telecommunications services.

Related to Scanning Services

  • Hosting Services NCR Voyix shall furnish facilities, equipment, computer programs and services, as specified from time to time by NCR Voyix, that NCR Voyix deems necessary for operation and maintenance of the System (collectively, the “Hosting Services”).

  • Training Services All training services, including any Deliverables, are provided for Customer’s internal training purposes only. Customer may not replicate the Deliverables or use the Deliverables to develop any of the products described in such training Deliverables. Training Deliverables are not subject to any maintenance, support, or updates.

  • Billing Services 6 SECTION 3.01.

  • Dining Services The Contract is for a space in a University Housing & Dining Services (“UHDS”) facility and not for a particular room or type of housing. By signing this Contract, you agree to accept your residence assignment, and understand this assignment may change. Once you receive a key to your assigned residence or move personal belongings into your room (whichever comes first) you are considered to have taken occupancy (“Occupancy”) and will incur charges. You also agree to familiarize yourself and comply with all University policies governing occupancy, including those set forth in this Contract and in the UHDS publication Student Policy and Information Guide, to be considerate of other residents and to respect the rights of others at all times.
