SCHEDULES AND OVERTIME. A. Schedules 1. Definitions a. Workday The workday is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at the time the Employee commences work.
SCHEDULES AND OVERTIME. This Article recognizes the fact that the Company must provide uninterrupted continuous service to our customers, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, as a matter of public safety and health. The Employer shall schedule the work for regular part-time employees on the Master Schedule such that they shall receive every second weekend free. It is understood that where an extra becomes available on a weekend and it is offered and accepted by a regular part-time employee (whether such extra weekend is scheduled on the Work Schedule or becomes available after the posting of the Posted Work Schedule such that the employee works consecutive weekends, there shall not Se any of the obligation.
