Section 13.5 Sample Clauses
Section 13.5. 34 If the district determines that seniority rights should not govern because a junior employee possesses ability 35 and performance substantially greater than a senior employee, the District shall set forth in writing to the 36 employee and the association president its reasons why the senior employee has been bypassed.
Section 13.5. District will notify the Association of all new hires within ten (10) working days of the hire date.
Section 13.5. District shall provide tort liability coverage for all employees subject to this Agreement, if the 3 employee is operating in the lawful and good faith performance of their duties.
Section 13.5. 2 Representatives of the Association may be granted time with compensation to attend workshops or 3 seminars when the request is approved by the District.
Section 13.5. 45 Termination of probationary employees as defined in this Agreement for any reason is not subject to the 46 grievance procedure.

Section 13.5. 47 Any employee who changes job positions within a classification shall receive full longevity credit 48 regarding step placement on Schedule A.
