Section 17.2.2. 9 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first (1st) regular pay day following 10 execution of this Agreement if possible, and in any case not later than the second (2nd) regular 11 pay day. In the case of retroactive pay resulting from negotiations pursuant to Article XVIII, 12 Section 18.3., such retroactive pay shall be paid on the first (1st) regular pay day following 13 agreement on such schedule, if possible, and in any case not later than the second (2nd) regular 14 pay day. 17 Incremental steps, where applicable shall take effect as follows:
Section 17.2.2. Employees regularly assigned to work in more than one job position shall be paid the appropriate 28 rate for hours worked in each position. The rate will be computed according to the salary schedule 29 in effect for each position, and the employee's step placement in the salary range.
Section 17.2.2. 28 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first regular pay day following execution 29 of this Agreement if possible, and in any case not later than the second regular pay day. In the 30 case of retroactive pay resulting from negotiations pursuant to Article XVIII, Section 18.3, such 31 retroactive pay shall be paid on the first regular pay day following agreement on such schedule, if 32 possible, and in any case not later than the second regular pay day.
Section 17.2.2. 47 Retroactive pay will be paid as soon as possible after a negotiation’s agreement is ratified.
Section 17.2.2. 10 In writing, the contract shall be reopened with mutual consent of both parties. The District shall 11 pass on all salary and State funded benefit increases for the length of the contract.
Section 17.2.2. 39 The District may offer additional voluntary training or staff development acceptance of which 40 is at the employee’s discretion. Employees attending those or other training courses, seminars 41 and conferences requested by the employee and approved by the District shall not suffer any 42 loss of pay or incur out-of-pocket expenses, but shall not be paid for additional hours beyond 43 regular employment time. 44
Section 17.2.2. 23 To the extent that the PSESD Head Start Program provides and funds to the District a cost of 24 living (COLA) increase(s) allocated for wages for District Head Start Program employees, the 25 increase(s) will be applied to all bargaining unit employees’ wage rate for the applicable 26 contract year. The District will only be obligated to disburse retroactive PSESD Head Start 27 Program provided and funded COLA wage increase(s) to the start of the contract year in which 28 the funds were received by the District.
Section 17.2.2. 33 Neither party shall be compelled to comply to any provision of this Agreement which conflicts 34 with state or federal statutes or regulations.
Section 17.2.2. 18 Incremental steps, where applicable, shall take effect on September 1 of each year during the term of 19 this Agreement, provided the employee has been actively employed continuously for at least one-half 20 (½) of the previous employment year.
Section 17.2.2. 37 The District may offer additional voluntary training or staff development acceptance of which 38 is at the employee’s discretion.
