Section 23.3. 40 This Agreement may be reopened and modified at any time during its term upon mutual consent of the 41 parties in writing; provided, however, that this Agreement shall be reopened annually to renegotiate 42 Schedule A herein; and provided further, that this Agreement shall be reopened as necessary to consider 43 the impact of any legislation enacted following execution of this Agreement which may arguably affect 44 the terms and conditions herein or create authority to alter personnel practices in public employment. This 45 Agreement shall also be reopened if there are any mandated changes to state health care insurance 46 benefits.

Section 23.3. 6 Unless the context in which they are used clearly requires otherwise, words used in this 7 Agreement denoting gender shall include both the masculine and feminine, and words denoting 8 number shall include both the singular and plural.
Section 23.3. 37 The District agrees to pay, at the hourly rate established for Bus Drivers, any classified employee 38 called upon to drive bus that is not normally required (by position description and/or title) to drive. 39 These hours will be kept and computed into the next month’s payroll computation. It is to be 40 understood that the employee will not be paid for both positions simultaneously. Time will be paid to 41 the nearest fifteen (15) minutes. 42 43 Section 23.4. 44 Any employee who changes positions within the same general job classification shall maintain their 45 step placement on Schedule A.
Section 23.3. 37 Should the employee's insurance premium exceed the dollar amount generated in the above paragraph, 38 the employee may exercise the option of purchasing additional insurance coverage through the District 39 plan, with the difference in premium being paid by the employee through payroll deduction.

Section 23.3. 25 It is important that grievances be processed as rapidly as possible. The number of days indicated at 27 process. The time limits specified may, however, be extended by mutual agreement. It is expected 28 that employees will be able to discuss differences in a setting which provides for open communications 29 and reflect an understanding of the individual’s concerns, job responsibilities, and the interests of the 30 district. Informal discussions between the employee and supervisor should take place before a formal 31 grievance is filed.
