Shift Differential Eligibility Clause Samples

The Shift Differential Eligibility clause defines which employees are entitled to receive additional pay for working shifts outside of standard hours, such as evenings, nights, or weekends. Typically, this clause outlines the specific roles, departments, or work schedules that qualify for the differential, and may detail the percentage or amount of extra compensation provided. Its core function is to ensure fair compensation for employees working less desirable hours and to incentivize coverage of shifts that are harder to staff.
Shift Differential Eligibility. Employees meeting the criteria in Section 3(A) and 3(B) of this Article shall be eligible for shift differential for all eligible hours worked. However, any hours worked by an Officer in accordance with the criteria set forth in Section 8 of this Article will not be eligible for shift differential for those hours.
Shift Differential Eligibility. A shift differential of $1.25 per hour will be paid to eligible employees. To be eligible for this shift differential, an employee must be either: (1) regularly assigned to a shift that starts at 6:00pm through the formal bidding process; or (2) work four (4) or more consecutive hours between the hours of 6:00pm and 6:00am.
Shift Differential Eligibility. To qualify for shift differential the employee must work a minimum of four (4) hours during the shift differential period. Hours worked before or after the shift differential period will be paid at the employee's straight-time rate. The shift differential will be included in the calculation of the overtime rate for hours worked that are subject to payment of shift differential. However, this shift differential shall not be included in the rate of pay for paid time off.
Shift Differential Eligibility. 5.04.01 Employees assigned to work afternoon or night shifts, or assigned to work a rotating relief work schedule or combination work schedule which include afternoon or night shift starting times between scheduled days off, will receive shift differential pay in addition to an employee’s base salary.
Shift Differential Eligibility. (A) To be eligible for night shift differential, an employee must be either: (1) regularly assigned to a shift that starts at 12:00 a.m. through the formal bidding process; or (2) work four (4) or more consecutive hours between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 8:00 a. m. The night shift differential shall be one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour for employees eligible for the night shift differential as identified in this Section. Shift differential will only apply to hours worked. (B) To be eligible for afternoon shift differential, an employee must be either: (1) regularly assigned to a shift that starts at 4:00 p.m. through the formal bidding process; or (2) work four (4) or more consecutive hours between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. The afternoon shift differential shall be eighty five cents ($.85) per hour for employees eligible for afternoon shift differential as identified in this Section. Shift differential will only apply to hours worked.

  • Shift Differential Pay SECTION 1: In addition to compensation provided by the wage schedule, employees working between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential premium of $.45 (forty-five cents) per hour in addition to the regular pay for those hours. SECTION 2: Employees must work a minimum of 3 (three) hours in order for shift differential to apply.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • TAX LIMITATION ELIGIBILITY In order to be eligible and entitled to receive the value limitation identified in Section 2.4 for the Qualified Property identified in Article III, the Applicant shall: A. have completed the Applicant’s Qualified Investment in the amount of $30,000,000 during the Qualifying Time Period; B. have created and maintained, subject to the provisions of Section 313.0276 of the TEXAS TAX CODE, New Qualifying Jobs as required by the Act; and C. pay an average weekly wage of at least $1,185.50 for all New Non-Qualifying Jobs created by the Applicant.
