SIGNED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE Sample Clauses

The 'SIGNED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE' clause designates the individual or entity authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of a party. In practice, this clause is typically followed by the name of the company or organization, with a space for an authorized representative to sign, print their name, and state their position or title. Its core function is to ensure that the person signing the contract has the legal authority to bind the party they represent, thereby preventing disputes over the validity of the agreement due to unauthorized signatures.
