A Statement of Recognition clause formally acknowledges certain facts, rights, or obligations between the parties to an agreement. Statement of Recognition. The ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as the "Board" or the "Employer," recognizes the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Education Association, hereinafter referred to as the "Association," as the sole and exclusive employee representative for all employees (teachers) in the bargaining unit.
Statement of Recognition. This agreement is made and entered into by and between the ▇▇▇▇▇ Education Association, hereinafter termed the “Association”, and the Board of Education of the ▇▇▇▇▇ Public Schools, hereinafter termed the “Board”. Further, no individual member of the bargaining unit shall negotiate with the Board except through their duly recognized bargaining representative.
Statement of Recognition. The Tea Area School District 41-5 Board of Education recognizes the Tea Education Association/SDEA/NEA as the exclusive representative of all certified staff for the purpose of meeting and negotiating with respect to grievance procedures, rates of pay, wages and hours of employment and other conditions of employment pursuant to South Dakota Codified Law (SDCL) 3-18.

The Liberty Local Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as the “Board” or the “Employer,” recognizes the Liberty Association of School Employees (LASE), affiliated with the Ohio Education Association (OEA) and the National Education Association (NEA), hereinafter referred to as the “Association,” as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative of all members of the bargaining unit for the purpose of arriving at contractual agreements on wages, hours, or terms and other conditions of employment, and the continuation, modification, or deletion of an existing provision of this agreement.

Recognition The Ashtabula County Board of Developmental Disabilities, hereinafter "Board," hereby recognizes the Ashtabula County Employees Association for the Mentally Handicapped, an affiliate of the Ohio Education Association and the National Education Association, hereinafter "Association," as the sole and exclusive representative of the Board's employees (as hereinafter defined) for the purpose of Collective Bargaining as defined in Section 4117.01(G) of the Ohio Revised Code. The Board's recognition of the Association as provided in Section A of this Article shall continue unless and until such recognition is validly withdrawn consistent with O.R.C. Chapter 4117.
