In considerationof a grievance resulting from the discharge and termination of an employee, a Step meeting will be scheduled within five (5) working days. Should no satisfactory settlement be reached at this stage, the aggrieved employee may within five (5) working days of receipt of the written response at Step submit the grievance to arbitration. The grievance procedure for an employee who claims has been discharged without just cause, shall be dealt with commencing at Step within five (5) working days after the discharge.   • Informal Stage If a Teacher is unable to resolve a complaint informally, the Teacher may with the concurrence of the Bargaining Unit Executive initiate a complaint with his/her supervisor who shall answer the complaint in writing (if requested) within ten (10) days of receipt of the complaint. The problem must be brought to the attention of the supervisor within fifteen (15) days after the Teacher becomes aware, or would reasonably be expected to have become aware, of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.

  • CMI/RAI MDS Report Recognizing the mutual objective of quality resident care, the Employer agrees to meet through the Union Management Committee with the Union as soon as practicable after the receipt of the annual CMI/RAI MDS report. The Employer agrees to provide the Union with staffing levels, and staffing mix information; the impact of related payroll costs on staffing levels and a written notice of the CMI/RAI MDS report for the facility. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the impact of the CMI/RAI MDS report on the staffing levels in the Home, quality resident care, and provide the Union with an opportunity to make representation in that regard. The parties shall meet as necessary to discuss other changes or workload issues. The parties may invite additional participants to attend the meeting to support constructive review and discussion.
