Surveys, Permits, and Regulations Clause Samples
The "Surveys, Permits, and Regulations" clause outlines the responsibilities of the parties regarding obtaining necessary surveys, securing permits, and complying with applicable laws and regulations related to the property or project. Typically, this clause specifies which party must arrange and pay for land surveys, building permits, zoning approvals, or other regulatory requirements. For example, a buyer may be required to obtain a boundary survey before closing, or a contractor may need to secure all construction permits before starting work. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all legal and regulatory prerequisites are met, thereby reducing the risk of delays, fines, or legal disputes arising from non-compliance.
