UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. Should the University, or an area of the University, be officially and temporarily closed due to environmental conditions, utility disruptions, road conditions, or other reasons beyond the control of staff members, except in the circumstances contemplated under Article 1.04, then: a) staff members will continue to receive full wages, rights and benefits during the closure; b) in the case of an area of the University being closed, and where alternate work is available in another area or department of the University, staff members will be informed if they are to be temporarily reassigned to that area or department. It is understood that nothing in this clause precludes staff members from carrying out duties consistent with their positions and professional responsibilities that will ensure the University, or area of the University, re- opens as quickly as possible.

UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. If the University officially closes, the University shall use its sole discretion to determine whether it is safe or prudent to continue to remain open for the Licensee’s event.
UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. 22.01 If the President of the University declares the University closed for any reason, or the majority of non-teaching staff is not required to work during a given period, no employee shall suffer a loss of pay. Moreover, subject to the express provisions of this collective agreement, any employee whose presence is required shall receive, in addition to his regular salary for time worked, the equivalent in paid leave.
UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. 22.3.1 - The PSU University Closure policy will apply to GAs in the event the University is closed due to inclement weather or disease containment purposes.
UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. Should the University, or an area of the University, be officially closed for a temporary period due to environmental conditions, utility disruptions, road conditions, acts of God or other reasons beyond the control of the employees covered by this Agreement, employees shall receive salary maintenanceduring the closure. These closures shall not be considered a University holiday as in Article 13. Those employees required to remain on the job shall be given the equivalent time off with such time off to be taken within the current fiscal year. Should these employees be required to remain beyond their normal hours of work, the provisions of Article 16.3 shall apply.
UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. In the event the University closes short term due to adverse weather conditions or emergencies, the employees that were scheduled to work for that day(s) will be paid at the regular rate of pay.
UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. In the event of an emergency University closure, employees with an existing remote work arrangement may be expected to work on time sensitive matters with an allowance of reasonable time to also tend to personal matters that are a result of that emergency. Employees who do not have a remote work arrangement already in place, will not be required or expected to work. If the emergency extends beyond two (2) consecutive workdays, remote work can be expected and the university will take the necessary steps within reason to ensure employees who previously didn't have a remote work arrangement, have the equipment and resources necessary to perform their job remotely.
UNIVERSITY CLOSURE. Should the University, or an area of the University, be officially declared closed temporarily due to environmental conditions, utility disruptions, road conditions, or acts of God, employees working on campus or in the affected area will not be expected to remain on campus during the period of closure, and their salaries shall not have deductions made as a result of that closure.
