Use of Drugs Clause Samples

The 'Use of Drugs' clause sets out rules regarding the consumption, possession, or influence of drugs within the context of the agreement. Typically, it prohibits parties—such as employees, contractors, or tenants—from using, possessing, or being under the influence of illegal substances while engaged in activities covered by the contract or while on specified premises. For example, an employment contract may require employees to remain drug-free during work hours and may allow for drug testing. This clause serves to maintain safety, ensure compliance with laws, and protect the reputation and operational integrity of the parties involved.
