Ventilation Systems Clause Samples

The Ventilation Systems clause sets out the requirements and standards for the installation, maintenance, and operation of ventilation systems within a building or facility. It typically specifies the type of systems to be used, performance criteria such as air quality and circulation rates, and responsibilities for regular inspection and servicing. By clearly defining these obligations, the clause ensures a safe and healthy indoor environment, helps prevent issues related to poor air quality, and allocates responsibility for compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Conditioned air from the fan coil units is distributed via sheet metal ductwork to plenum boxes as manufactured by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Moducel series CB or equal. Each fan coil unit will be served by a dedicated return air diffuser mounted temperature sensor. The plenum box terminates with a linear diffuser to provide uniform air distribution. The diffusers are manufactured by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Moducel CB series or equal, one and two-way directional blow. Air is extracted from the space via extract diffusers as manufactured by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Moducel CB series or equal, two-way directional blow. These diffusers do not require a fitted plenum box. Motorised isolation dampers are installed in the supply and extract ductwork main branches to achieve quadrant control, via the BMS to the floor. These isolation dampers are manufactured by ▇▇▇▇▇ Ltd modelMF/6233 or equal and approved. Volume control dampers are installed to all the sub branches to regulate their air volume. The dampers are manufactured by Advanced Air or equal, are stainless steel, aerofoil multi-blade dampers. Where fire dampers are installed they are of the fusible link type manufactured by Volume Control Devices or equal and approved. Ventilation Systems. Whenever you light the WOODBURNER or the PROPANE GAS HEATER, you MUST always turn on the PPIV (positive pressure input ventilation) system using the “Ventilation” switch next to the fridge, in order to ensure proper ventilation. Also provided is a NPEV (negative pressure extract ventilation) system (the “Extract” switch); this will quickly remove any cooking smells, and can also be used to expel warm air from the house on summer evenings. It is also possible to use both systems simultaneously to quickly replace stale moisture-laden air with fresh air from outside. Both systems are virtually silent and are suitable for continuous use, on the “low” setting, if wished. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September. Children under the age of 12 are NOT permitted in the swimming pool at any time, and the gates must be kept locked at all times to prevent unauthorised access. Remember that there is a certain health risk associated with this facility and you use the pool entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is essential that drinking glasses are never taken into the pool area as broken glass is almost impossible to find under water; the whole pool has to be drained to find it - we provide polycarbonate “glasses” for this reason. Our housekeepers sanitise and replenish chemicals prior to your arrival to ensure that it is clean and ready for use. The pool cover is for insulation purposes and is not designed to support a person or persons; DO NOT STAND ON IT, it could break and you may be charged for a replacement. Remember when not using the pool, and especially at night, to leave the cover on so the water will stay warm. Particular care must be taken when the floor is wet, as it can become slippery. You should always ensure that you stand on the wooden duck-board when taking a shower or walking on the wet floor.
