Architect Certification Clause Samples

The Architect Certification clause requires that certain aspects of a construction project, such as completed work or compliance with design specifications, be formally verified and certified by a qualified architect. In practice, this means that progress payments, final approvals, or occupancy may depend on the architect's written confirmation that the work meets contractual and regulatory standards. This clause ensures an independent professional assessment, providing assurance to both the owner and contractor that the project is proceeding according to agreed-upon plans and quality requirements, thereby reducing disputes and clarifying responsibilities.
