Community Workshops Sample Clauses
Community Workshops. The Consultant will plan, prepare and facilitate three community workshops. The first workshop will focus on familiarizing attendees with the project, presenting the initial trails base mapping, an assessment of the current trail network’s strengths and weaknesses, soliciting attendees’ knowledge of any trails not yet mapped, and identifying additional opportunities for community input, including the online comment map. The second and third workshops will occur after follow-up development of the initial trails base mapping, and will also provide opportunities for input. These meetings will include presentations summarizing additions since the previous mapping updates, with supporting aerial photo maps and display boards.
Community Workshops. Throughout the process the Project Team will collectively conduct at least 8 larger community workshops in multiple languages to engage the community in the process of the feasibility study. The Project Team will work closely with the feasibility study consultant to decide on and design content to provide participants with meaningful opportunities to contribute and provide feedback. Earlier workshops will be used to help refine the focus of the consultant, while later workshops will be geared toward identifying recommendations and priorities for future implementation. These workshops will be done collaboratively by the full Project Team.
Community Workshops. WSP will host up to three community workshops at key project milestones to collect community input on their collective vision for the subarea plans, review draft subarea concepts, and review the draft preferred alternatives. This input will help inform the City’s overall vision and advance the subarea planning process. To encourage participation, venues for the community workshops will include materials and stations for each subarea per workshop. Potential venues for workshops may include, but should not be limited to, local schools, the La Center Community Library, or the La Center Grange. The general objectives for each community visioning workshop include: • Community Visioning Workshop 1: This workshop will inform the public of the subarea planning process and review existing conditions. WSP will gather feedback on existing conditions, high-level shared community vision ideas, opportunities and challenges facing La Center, and community priorities. A preliminary visioning framework, developed in partnership with the CAC, will also be presented. • Community Workshop 2: This workshop will present initial subarea concepts to the community for “ground truthing,” collect feedback, and identify potential community support for subarea concepts. WSP will also present an update on the progress of the CAC and solicit community feedback for further refinement of two draft concepts per subarea. • Community Workshop 3: This workshop will be held for public review of the preferred subarea plans and to solicit public comments on the EIS Determination of Significance (DS) and EIS scoping process and will be scheduled during the 45-day EIS public comment period to gather comments on the draft EIS.
Community Workshops. ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ will facilitate community workshops to discuss the Housing Element update process. ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ will prepare and deliver a PowerPoint presentation, informational handouts, visual aids, and other materials as appropriate. The Following Workshops will be conducted: • Workshop #1 – Sites Analysis Process and Methodology • Workshop #2 – Site Selection • Workshop #3 – Preferred Site Selection Strategy The meetings are intended to be interactive, computer-based working sessions, with the involvement of the public
Community Workshops. ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ will prepare for and host two (2) community workshops or listening sessions that provide an opportunity for in-person interaction. One workshop will occur at the beginning of the process and another will occur after the draft recommendations have been developed. The workshops will be held at the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Station Community Center or in another publicly accessible location in the Town. ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ will provide three (3) staff for each event. ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ will develop meeting materials, including table maps and a presentation. The Town is responsible for producing handouts (if desired) securing the event venue and audiovisual equipment and notifying participants. Town staff will also help to facilitate the workshop.
Community Workshops. The consultant team will organize two community workshops throughout the life of the project. The first community workshop will take place in the initial phase of the project. The goals of the first workshop are two-fold: 1) to provide an orientation to participants and establish community goals and priorities, and 2) to identify existing conditions and needs and opportunities within the study area. The second community workshop will be structured to include an informational session, with presentations, posters, and large area maps to present the three concept alternatives, solicit feedback to refine these concepts, and to decide on the final preferred plan.
Community Workshops. Workshops represent significant opportunities to share information and obtain structured input from residents. Our philosophy is that these meetings must feature interactive elements to engage participants and provide relevant, timely feedback for developing the plan and urban design framework. AECOM will host the initial workshop (of three total workshops) following the NTP. The first workshop shall serve as a visioning and listening forum. Two additional workshops will be held at strategic milestones during the process, punctuating generally the development of alternatives and presentation of the preferred plan. AECOM will organize, staff, and facilitate all sessions, including scheduling and coordination, preparation of materials, meeting logistics, notification, and workshop notes. We will also make meeting content available online and work to leverage online tools for public engagement to ensure that everyone is able to provide input even if they cannot attend a community workshop. Because large workshops can require the support of 10 or more staff, AECOM has assumed that the City will provide at least five staff at each public workshop.
Community Workshops. Arrange and conduct 1 half-day Community Workshop events designed to educate community members about the project and obtain targeted feedback on specific issues or components of the project. Prepare draft agenda for the Community Workshop for review and approval by APM and coordinate with APM for the appropriate Agency personnel to be present to assist in presenting project information and in responding to questions. Agency will review and provide comments on the draft agenda. Prepare a draft PowerPoint presentation to use at workshops, for Agency review and comment. Document the Community Forum with meeting notes and consolidated comments and themes.
Community Workshops. Organize workshops and seminars to educate the public about responsible pet ownership, the benefits of spay/neuter, and the impact on local populations.

Workshop #1 would: introduce the corridor study; describe how the public may obtain information on the progress of the study and the opportunities/resources to provide input; and obtain feedback that would be used to develop the corridor Concept Alternatives to be developed in Task 4.1. Workshop #2 would allow the public to review and comment on the Concept Alternatives developed in Task 4.1. Workshop #3 would allow the public to review and comment on the Draft Plan developed under Task 4.2.
