The 'Daily entitlement' clause defines the specific rights or benefits that an individual is entitled to receive on a daily basis under the terms of an agreement. Daily entitlement. (a) The travelling allowances prescribed in this clause will be payable for:
(i) any day upon which the Employee performs or reports for duty, or allocation of work; and
(ii) any rostered day off taken as prescribed in clauses 36—Hours of Work, and 37—Shiftwork.
(b) The allowances prescribed in this subclause will be taken into account when calculating the annual leave loading.
(c) The allowances prescribed by this subclause will not be taken into account for calculating overtime, penalty rates, annual or personal/carer’s leave entitlements.
Daily entitlement. 7.1.3.1 The travelling allowances prescribed in this clause are not to be taken into account in calculating overtime, penalty rates, annual leave, personal (sick) leave, carer’s leave, compassionate leave or jury service.
7.1.3.2 The daily fares allowance is payable for any day upon which an employee in accordance with the Company’s requirements works or reports for work or allocation of work whether the employee has used a bicycle, has walked or used other means of locomotion and on the rostered day off.
7.1.3.3 The daily fares allowance is not payable for any day upon which the employee does not report for work or on the additional leisure days off.
7.1.3.4 The daily fares allowance will be taken into account when calculating the annual leave loading.

The allowances shall however be taken into account when calculating the annual leave loading.
38.10.2 Subject to the foregoing provisions a fare shall be deemed to have been incurred if the employee has used a bicycle or other means of locomotion or has walked instead of using a public conveyance.
