If Management must close a facility because of severe weather conditions or an emergency situation, as determined by Management, administrative leave will be granted to those employees on official duty in accordance with applicable law and regulation. If this decision is made prior to the start of the business day, a reasonable mechanism will be established to inform employees at the local worksite. B. When inclement weather conditions exist, a reasonable effort will be made to provide direction to bargaining unit employees at Indian Affairs worksites that is similar to the direction provided to employees of other similarly situated federal, state, or local agencies by their respective management officials.
