Installation Standards. A System Installations shall conform to Manufacturers’ Installation Manuals and approved project drawings and specifications. DRAFT B Mounting hardware shall be compatible with the site considerations and environment. Special attention shall be paid to minimizing the risk from exposed fasteners, sharp edges, and potential damage to the units or support canopies. Corrosion resistance and durability of the mechanical hardware shall be emphasized – the use of stainless steel fasteners and aluminum support canopies are required. The use of ferrous metals, wood, or plastic components is not acceptable. C The installations shall be completed with minimal impact on the environment.

Installation Standards. A. Any installation, repairs, or removal of equipment shall be performed in accordance with industry standards.
B. At the Local Government’s sole cost and expense, all such work shall be done in compliance with all applicable building codes, ordinances, and other laws, rules, or regulations of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over such work, including, but not limited to, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Texas Architectural Barriers Act.
C. The Local Government must obtain all required governmental agreements, permits, and authorizations prior to beginning any such work and shall provide copies of the same to TxDOT upon request.
D. After commencement of the installation of the equipment, the Local Government shall perform such work with due diligence to its completion.
E. The Local Government is solely responsible for meeting and adhering to the above listed standards notwithstanding TxDOT’s approval of plans and specifications.
Installation Standards. A. All Attachments permitted by Owner shall be installed in a manner which does not interfere with the present or any future use which Owner may desire to make of its poles. Owner shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether the Attachment interferes with Owner's present or future pole use plans. All Attachments made hereunder shall be installed and maintained by Licensee in compliance with the Standards. Licensee shall identify the Attachment at each pole location using a tagging system approved by Owner.
B. Licensee acknowledges that the poles licensed hereunder have energized facilities installed upon them and that working in the vicinity of energized facilities poses potential dangers. At all times during the term of this Agreement, and particularly during the time of any construction, repair, or maintenance of Attachments covered by this Agreement, Licensee shall consider the electric wires of Owner to be energized. Licensee shall warn all of its employees, agents, contractors and subcontractors, or any other parties who may be working on behalf of the undersigned, of the potential dangers. Licensee shall take any necessary precautions by the installation of protective equipment, or other means, to protect all persons and property of all kinds against injury or damage occurring by reason of Licensee's Attachments on Owner's Poles.
Installation Standards. (a) It shall be the policy of both parties hereto that electrical work shall be installed in a safe and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇-like manner and in accord with applicable code and contract specifications.
(b) The minimum standard of wiring to be installed shall be no less than the current edition of the National Electrical Code. Employees should complete a National Electrical Code Update and/or Review Class provided by, or approved by, the J.A.T.C., at least once every three years. Thereafter, the three-year cycle of classes will correspond with the National Electrical Code triennial revisions.
(c) A journeyman shall be required to make corrections on improper workmanship for which he is responsible on his own time. He shall not be responsible for improper work done by orders of the Employer, or the Employer’s representative, or because of lack of proper information. The Employer shall notify the Union of workmen who fail to adjust improper workmanship, and the Union assumes responsibility for the enforcement of this provision.

Installation Standards. ▪The Draft Statewide Weatherization Installation Standards developed for the Low Income Energy Efficiency (LIEE) Program must be followed for Energy Star® fixtures, Energy Star® compact fluorescents, ceiling insulation, weatherization measures, water heater blankets, low-flow showerheads, and faucet aerators. Copies may be obtained from the IOU Agreement Representative. ▪The 2001 Single Family Residential Contractor Program Installation Standards must be followed for duct testing and sealing, AC diagnostics, wall insulation and high performance windows. These standards will be made available to Implementer ▪All measures shall replace existing operational equipment that is not energy efficient. Replacement on burnout is not allowed under this Program. ▪ All measures must be new and installed. Resale measures, measures leased, rented, rebuilt or won as prizes in existing units do not qualify. Any measure not covered in the IOU standards shall defer to the Uniform Building Code or to the manufacturer’s installation requirements
Installation Standards. Equipment installation practices shall comply with all applicable building and electrical codes. Installation best practices shall be followed at all times. The selected Contractor shall be responsible for job related trash removal from the installation sites.
