Liability for Unauthorized Transfers. CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY if you believe that your 3Hill Credit Union MasterCard debit card or 3Hill Credit Union ATM card or PIN has been lost or stolen. Telephone 3Hill Credit Union at ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon-Wed-Thur-Fri and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday (excluding holidays). After regular business hours, to report a LOST or STOLEN 3Hill Credit Union MasterCard debit card or ATM card, call ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇. Any transaction processed from Square Inc. must be disputed with Square Inc. directly. You could lose all of your money in the account(s) if you take no action to notify us on the loss or theft of your 3HILL CU MasterCard debit card or 3HILL CU ATM card or PIN. If you notify us of the loss or theft, your liability will be as follows:
a. If you contact us within 24 hours of the loss or your discovery of the loss, you can lose no more than $50.00 if someone used your 3HILL CU MasterCard debit card or ATM card without your permission.
b. If someone used your 3HILL CU MasterCard debit card or ATM card and PIN without your permission (Unauthorized use), you could lose all of your balances if you do NOT contact us within 24 hours after having learned of the loss or theft and we can prove that we could have prevented the loss if you had contacted us. Unauthorized use means the use of the card by a person other than the cardholder who does not have actual, implied or apparent authority for such use and from which the cardholder receives no benefit.
c. Also, if your monthly statement shows transfers or purchases that you did not make and you do not contact us within sixty (60) days after the statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any money lost after sixty (60) days or if the transfers or purchases were made using your 3HILL CU MasterCard debit card or 3HILL CU ATM card and PIN and we can prove that your contacting us would have prevented those losses.

Immediately following your discovery of an unauthorized Payment Instruction, you shall communicate with customer care for the Service in the manner set forth in Section 6 of the General Terms above. You acknowledge and agree that time is of the essence in such situations. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) prevented you from telling us, we may in our sole discretion extend the period.

If I notify you of the loss or theft of my PIN and/or password within 2 business days after I learn of it, my loss will be limited to $50 if someone uses my PIN and/or password without my permission. If I fail to tell the Credit Union within 2 business days and you can prove you could have stopped someone from using my PIN and/or password without my permission had I told you, I could lose as much as $500. Also, if my statement shows transfers I did not make, I should tell you at once. I have 60 days after my statement is sent to me to tell the Credit Union of any transfers I did not make. If I fail to notify you within 60 days, I may not get my money back if you can prove that you could have stopped someone from taking my money had I told you in time. I understand you may extend this period if I can provide a good reason (such as a long trip or hospital stay) for not notifying you sooner.
