Maintenance Engineer for Cranes Only On projects where 2 or more cranes of 100-ton capacity or greater are working there shall be a One (1) Maintenance Engineer for Cranes Only required for every 2nd crane. (i.e., 4 cranes = 2 Maintenance Engineer for Cranes Only, 8 cranes = 4 Maintenance Engineer for Cranes Only)
Maintenance Engineer. This classification requires personnel specially suited and qualified to provide the necessary, repair, operation, and preventative maintenance of heating, cooling, ventilation, and utility systems and such automotive and hand operated equipment as is placed in the care of the maintenance section. When necessary, these employees may be assigned other duties within or below their classification without reduction in pay rate. Maintenance Helper - General: This classification requires personnel specially suited to assisting in the repair, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and when not assigned to mechanical work shall be able to perform custodial and housekeeping duties. Maintenance Helper – Groundskeeper: This classification requires personnel specially suited and certificated for all aspects of grounds keeping for the district, and when not assigned to such duties, shall be able to perform custodial and housekeeping duties. When necessary, these employees may be assigned other duties within or below their classification without reduction in pay rate. Custodian I: This classification requires personnel who are able to perform custodial and housekeeping duties (inside and outside of buildings) as directed by the supervisor. When necessary as part of housekeeping, custodians will repair, tighten, adjust, and replace basic building furnishings when time permits. The Manager of Facility Operations will post a current map of each custodian’s area of responsibility in the time clock room and each “J” room or custodial closet. Any member assigned to perform duties of a higher paid classification shall be paid the higher classification pay rate for all hours worked in the higher classification.

Maintenance Engineer. The work covered by this Agreement, as it pertains to maintenance engineers, shall include but not be limited to work in connection with the installation (except the installation of conduit and wires therein, the wiring of light circuits and the wiring of power circuits up to the fi- nal distribution panel), operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment used by WGME by means of which electricity is applied in the transmission or trans- ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, production and reproduction of voice, sound or vision with or without ethereal aid, in its television operation and support for the technology used in TV systems. NEWS PHOTOGRAPHER: The work covered by this Agreement, as it pertains to News Photographers, shall include but not be limited to the responsibility for recording video and audio either on location within the WGME broadcast area or at the WGME-TV studios and editing that video and audio for the presentation of news stories in WGME-TV's news programs; use of live remote news gather- ing using whatever technology available including switching between cameras on live shots during news, uploading pictures and video to the station's social media platforms and websites from the field, operating, as necessary, studio cameras at the WGME-TV studios; and properly maintaining all news equipment and Company vehicles in accordance with Company Policy. Photographers will put forth their best efforts to perform any switching duties and management will consider factors such as switching between cameras before disciplining or nega- tively affecting an employee for unacceptable job performance. Photographers will not be used to switch between cameras for debates or similar rapid-fire switching or when directorial communications may be necessary. Basic direc- torial communications, prior to broadcast, maybe be allowed (ex: properly fram- ing shot). News Photographers may be assigned a Company vehicle which may also be used to commute to and from work provided employees shall use the ve- hicles and record mileage in accordance with Company Policy. There shall be no favoritism in assignments. The Company may designate one News Photogra- pher on weekends to shoot studio camera for news shows. News Photographers assigned a Company vehicle may be considered "On Call." The Company will provide photographers with all equipment necessary to perform their duties. Maintenance Engineer. The Collective Agreement provision of the list of minor repairs which are the responsibility of the Building Engineer shall remain the responsibility of each Building Engineer but in addition a classification called Maintenance Engineer shall provide expert instruction to Building Engineers in areas of plumbing, carpentry, sheet metal, machining and electricity to improve skills and also to effect repairs when required in schools. The levels and type of skill required for each position will be determined by the Board for each posting.

Maintenance Engineer. It shall be the duty of the Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment coming within the confines of the above-paragraphed stipulation, it will be the privilege of the Maintenance or Watch Engineer to relieve either the Maintenance or Watch Engineer, providing, however, that said relief will not affect or tend to eliminate the employment of a Maintenance or a Watch Engineer.
