MEASURES TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY. The parties agree through consultation to implement the following: 12.1 Rostered Days Off To allow greater flexibility in the taking of rostered days off and facilitate the most efficient use of labour. (i) Subject to consultation and agreement, employees may be requested to defer their rostered days off; (ii) Rostered Days Off may be banked to a maximum of five days, after consultation and agreement between the Employer and Employee. The Union will be informed of this; (iii) Subject to the Company agreeing, rostered days off may be banked to be taken with the next or subsequent RDOs, or taken on a day as agreed with the Company. Nothing in this clause entitles the Company to direct a worker to take a single RDO on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday; (iv) Banked rostered days off must be taken within 12 months of banking; (v) The taking of RDOs may be split with a proportion of the employees taking their RDO on a Monday and a proportion on a Friday in any week; (vi) Such work will be paid for at ordinary time rates of pay; (vii) The 38-hour RDO dates will apply as issued in the CFMEU publication setting out the full details.
MEASURES TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY. (1) The parties to this Agreement recognise and are committed to improving productivity throughout the St Ives Gold Mine operation and recognise further that success in raising productivity will occur through consultation and co- operation. (2) Any system determined in (1) above will be discussed fully through the Bulkhaul Consultative Committee and agreement reached prior to any implementation of any further system (3) In meeting the objectives of this Agreement, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will continue to ensure that there are no barriers to equal employment opportunities in the workplace. (6) Areas to be considered in relation to improved and/or reduced productivity as a direct result of staff initiatives or actions are: • reductions in lost time due to injury and associated savings; • cost of accident damage; and • changes in work practices.
MEASURES TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY. The parties agree to implement the following: (a) Rostered Days Off (RDOs) (i) To allow greater flexibility in the taking of Rostered Days Off, and to maximise customer service, RDOs may be banked. Notice of taking an RDO shall be no later than three (3) days prior to the RDO falling due, or by mutual agreement between the employees concerned and management. (ii) Only in cases of genuine personal need shall an employee seek to decline to work on a scheduled RDO that is being banked. (iii) Rostered Days Off may be banked to a maximum of five (5) days. (iv) In the case of poor order intake, management may require banked RDOs to be taken. In such cases, at least two (2) clear days notice shall be given to employees. Notice prior to 10:00a.m. shall constitute a full clear day. (v) Nothing in this clause enables the Company to require an employee to take an RDO on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, unless preceded by a day of Annual Leave, Public Holiday or another RDO. (vi) Employees, on an exceptional needs basis only, shall be able to seek Management agreement to take banked RDO’s. Such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. (vii) Banked RDO’s must be taken within twelve (12) months of banking. (viii) RDO’s to be scheduled at least one month prior to the date of the RDO. (b) Managing Annual Leave To allow greater flexibility in taking Annual Leave in order to maximise customer service, the following provisions shall apply:- (i) To ensure an acceptable level of customer service is maintained at all times, the business must remain open during the traditional Christmas period. (ii) The critical period that requires capacity increase, is from the third week in December to the end of the second week in January. (iii) The Company shall seek to identify as closely as possible, by the end of September its labour requirements for the period in question. (iv) Having done so, the company shall seek to fill its labour requirements through calling for appropriately skilled employee volunteers. (v) However, in the event that such a process fails to deliver the required labour, then individuals will be approached to work over the Christmas period. (vi) Unless exceptional personal circumstances apply which would prevent an employee from working as requested, then such an employee shall be obliged to work. (vii) Where employees are so required to work over the Christmas period, then the taking of comparable Annual Leave shall be at the discretion of the employee, unless ...
MEASURES TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY. 11.1 Modernisation of Annual Leave Provision To allow greater flexibility in taking annual leave, the following provisions will apply:- (a) Leave will be taken at times during the year as agreed between the employee and employer. (b) The needs of the employee will be given primary consideration by the employer when such leave arrangements are being made. (c) Employees must be allowed at least one break of not less than fourteen consecutive days. (d) Remaining leave may be taken in one:- (i) period of not less than seven consecutive days. (ii) single day/s maximum five days per annum.

Where one or more RDO’s have not been taken within 12 months of banking, the employer will pay out the RDO/s to the employee in the next available pay period. In addition, all accrued but untaken RDO’s at the time of termination or resignation of employment, will be paid to the employee as wages. (f) Where employees agree, the taking of RDOs may be split with a proportion of the employees taking their RDO on a Monday and a proportion on a Friday in any week. (g) Such work will be paid for at ordinary time rates of pay.

  • PRODUCTIVITY The Union shall place no limitations upon the amount of work which an Employee shall perform during the working day and there shall be no restrictions imposed against the use of any type of machinery, tools or labour saving devices.

  • Benchmarks for Measuring Accessibility For the purposes of this Agreement, the accessibility of online content and functionality will be measured according to the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and the Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 for web content, which are incorporated by reference.
