Partial Shift. Employees who work less than four (4) hours shall be paid for four (4) hours; Employees who work more than four (4) hours shall be paid the actual hours worked, rounded up in ¼ hour increments.
Partial Shift. The task shall initially be assigned to the employee readily available with the skill, however, the designated back-up shall be offered the option to take over the task and should he desire to do so, the change shall occur at the first appropriate opportunity, but in any event, no later than the next designated break. Should the designated back-up decline the opportunity, it shall be assigned to any employee with the skill.
Partial Shift. Employees who work, with management approval, part of their shift on one of the holidays listed in Section 17.1 shall be compensated at the appropriate rate for all hours worked as specified above. They shall also draw from their holiday leave bank any hours needed to make up the full shift. Hours not drawn to cover holiday time off will be banked for later use, with management approval, or for cash out.
Partial Shift. Work that is less than the entire shift. If the work is for 4 hours or more, it must be first offered as day off work. A. The Supervisor who can start the work and complete the assignment within their 12-hour workday, within a 15-hour spread time. B. If the Supervisor who starts the piece of work cannot finish the piece, then the next available Supervisor in seniority will continue or finish the available shift not covered in this section under 2 above, full shift, within their 12-hour day, within a 15-hour spread time.
Partial Shift. Employees working partial shifts of a vacant position will receive the higher pay if they are assigned to fill that position for more than three (3) consecutive work shifts.

  • Partial Payment If in any distribution described in Section 4(a) above the assets of the Issuer or proceeds thereof are not sufficient to pay in full the amounts payable with respect to all outstanding shares of Designated Preferred Stock and the corresponding amounts payable with respect of any other stock of the Issuer ranking equally with Designated Preferred Stock as to such distribution, holders of Designated Preferred Stock and the holders of such other stock shall share ratably in any such distribution in proportion to the full respective distributions to which they are entitled.

  • Partial Damage In the event all or a portion of the Premises is partially damaged by fire, explosion, the elements, a public enemy, Act of God, or other casualty, but not rendered untenable, Company will give Authority immediate notice thereof, and Authority will make the repairs immediately, at its own cost and expense.

  • Partial payments (a) If the Agent receives a payment that is insufficient to discharge all the amounts then due and payable by an Obligor under the Finance Documents, the Agent shall apply that payment towards the obligations of that Obligor under the Finance Documents in the following order: (i) first, in or towards payment pro rata of any unpaid fees, costs and expenses of the Agent under the Finance Documents; (ii) secondly, in or towards payment pro rata of any accrued interest, fee or commission due but unpaid under this Agreement; (iii) thirdly, in or towards payment pro rata of any principal due but unpaid under this Agreement; and (iv) fourthly, in or towards payment pro rata of any other sum due but unpaid under the Finance Documents. (b) The Agent shall, if so directed by the Majority Lenders, vary the order set out in paragraphs (a)(ii) to (iv) above. (c) Paragraphs (a) and (b) above will override any appropriation made by an Obligor.

  • Partial Taking If any part of the Premises is taken and the remaining part after Landlord makes repairs and alterations is reasonably suitable, as reasonably determined by Landlord and Tenant, for Tenant’s continued occupancy for the purposes and uses permitted by this Lease, this Lease shall, as to the part so taken terminate as of the date that possession of such part of the Premises is taken and the Base Monthly Rental shall be reduced in the same proportion that the floor area of the portion of the Building so taken (less any addition thereto by reason of any reconstruction) bears to the original floor area of the Building. Tenant shall, at its sole cost and expense, make all necessary repairs or alterations to the Building so as to make the portion of the Building not taken a complete architectural unit in accordance with the terms and provisions of Section 19.4, Landlord shall make available to Tenant any condemnation proceeds it receives which are allocable to such portion of the Building in accordance with the terms and provisions of Section 19.4. Base Monthly Rental due and payable hereunder shall be temporarily abated during such restoration period in proportion to the degree to which Tenant’s use of Premises is impaired. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the square footage of the Building is taken or sold under such threat, Landlord may terminate this Lease as of the date that the condemning authority takes possession by delivery of written notice of such election within twenty (20) days after Landlord has been notified of the taking or, in the absence thereof, within twenty (20) days after the condemning authority shall have taken possession.
