Particular requirements. All types of safety glazing shall, depending on the category to which they belong, comply with the following particular requirements: 7.1. As regards toughened-glass windscreens, the requirements contained in Annex 4; 7.2. As regards uniformly-toughened glass panes, the requirements contained in Annex 5; 7.3. As regards ordinary laminated-glass windscreens, the requirements contained in Annex 6; 7.4. As regards ordinary laminated-glass panes, the requirements contained in Annex 7; 7.5. As regards treated laminated-glass windscreens, the requirements contained in Annex 8; 7.6. As regards safety glazing faced with plastics material, in addition to the relevant requirements listed above, the requirements contained in Annex 9; 7.7. As regards glass-plastics windscreens, the requirements contained in Annex 10; 7.8. As regards glass-plastics panes, the requirements contained in Annex 11; 7.9. As regards double-glazed units, the requirements contained in Annex 12; 7.10. As regards rigid plastic panes, the requirements contained in Annex 14; 7.11. As regards flexible plastic panes, the requirements contained in Annex 15; 7.12. As regards rigid plastic double-glazed units, the requirements contained in Annex 16.
Particular requirements. 5.3.1. No door shall open during the test. This requirement is deemed to be fulfilled: (a) If it is clearly visible, that the door lock is latched; or (b) If the door does not open under a static tractive force of at least 400 N in the y-direction applied to the door, according to the Figure below, as close as possible to the window sill and to the edge of the door opposite to the hinged side, except to the door handle itself. In the case of automatically activated door locking systems which are installed optionally and/or which can be de-activated by the driver, this requirement shall be verified by using one of the following two test procedures, at the choice of the manufacturer: 5.3.1.1.1. If testing in accordance with Annex 4, paragraph 5.2.2.1., the manufacturer shall in addition demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Technical Service (e.g. manufacturer’s in-house data) that, in the absence of the system or when the system is de-activated, no door will open in case of the impact. 5.3.1.1.2. If testing in accordance with Annex 4, paragraph 5.2.2.2., the manufacturer shall in addition demonstrate that the inertial load requirements of paragraph 6.1.4. of the 03 series of amendments to Regulation No. 11 are met for the unlocked side doors on the non-struck side. 5.3.2. After the impact, the side doors on the non-struck side shall be unlocked. 5.3.2.1. In the case of vehicles equipped with an automatically activated door locking system, the doors shall be locked before the moment of impact and be unlocked after the impact at least on the non-struck side. 5.3.2.2. In the case of automatically activated door locking systems which are installed optionally and/or which can be de-activated by the driver, this requirement shall be verified by using one of the following two test procedures, at the choice of the manufacturer: 5.3.2.2.1. If testing in accordance with Annex 4, paragraph 5.2.2.1, the manufacturer shall in addition demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Technical Service (e.g. manufacturer’s in-house data) that, in the absence of the system or when the system is de-activated, the side doors on the non-struck side are unlocked after the impact. 5.3.2.2.2. If testing in accordance with paragraph Annex 4, paragraph 5.
Particular requirements. No contact between parts of the vehicle shall occur which are not intended to come into contact during normal use.

After the impact, it shall be possible without the use of tools to: 5.3.2.1. open a sufficient number of doors provided for normal entry and exit of passengers to allow evacuation of all occupants; 5.3.2.2. release the dummy from the protective system; 5.3.2.3. remove the dummy from the vehicle; 5.3.3. no interior device or component shall become detached in such a way as noticeably to increase the risk of injury from sharp projections or jagged edges; 5.3.4. ruptures, resulting from permanent deformation are acceptable, provided these do not increase the risk of injury; 5.3.5. if there is continuous leakage of liquid from the fuel-feed installation after the collision, the rate of leakage shall not exceed 30 g/min; if the liquid from the fuel-feed system mixes with liquids from the other systems and the various liquids cannot easily be separated and identified, all the liquids collected shall be taken into account in evaluating the continuous leakage.

Following the test conducted in accordance with the procedure defined in Annex 4 to this Regulation, the electrical power train operating on high voltage, and the high voltage components and systems, which are galvanically connected to the high voltage bus of the electric power train, shall meet the following requirements: 5.3.6.1. Protection against electrical shock 6.1.4.2. shall be met. If the vehicle has an automatic disconnect function, or device(s) that galvanically divide the electric power train circuit during driving condition, at least one of the following criteria shall apply to the disconnected circuit or to each divided circuit individually after the disconnect function is activated.
