Rostered Days Off (RDO Clause Samples
A Rostered Days Off (RDO) clause establishes the entitlement and scheduling of regular days off for employees, typically in workplaces with set rosters or shift work. It outlines how and when employees accrue RDOs, such as accumulating extra hours worked over a period to be taken as a full day off, and may specify notice requirements or limitations on when RDOs can be taken. The core function of this clause is to ensure employees receive adequate rest and work-life balance, while providing employers with a clear framework for managing staffing and operational needs.
