Section 7.14.1. 24 During the first four-day week after Labor Day, and/or during the second full week of school, 25 paraeducators may work additional hours up to their regular shift without going into overtime. 27 This section applies to: Para II highly capable; Para III ELL, Reading/Math; Para IV; Resource 28 Room, Health Room, Para V Learning Center and Special Ed Paraeducators (SLC, Pathways, 29 One-to-One TAP and ECE). 30
Section 7.14.1. 29 An employee at his/her option and with supervisor’s approval, may select comp time off in lieu 30 of overtime compensation. Comp time may be accrued; provided, however, that records shall 31 be maintained and there must be a reasonable expectation that the employee will be provided 32 an opportunity to expend the accrued time. 33 34 Comp time shall be accrued at the rate of one and one-half (1½) hours for each hour worked in 35 excess of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week.
Section 7.14.1. 7 All dispatched extra trips shall be posted on the bulletin board.
Section 7.14.1. Accident Review Board will consist of the Transportation Manager, one (1) mechanic, one (1) 3 maintenance person, and two (2) bus drivers. The Transportation Director will appoint the mechanic 4 and the Operations Director will appoint the maintenance person. The bus driver positions will be 5 posted on bid day, followed by the drivers voting on the candidates at in-service. Committee 6 members will serve for at least one (1) year. The Transportation Manger will act as chairperson.
Section 7.14.1. 47 Time spent outside of an employee’s normal work day to travel to District required training, 48 classes, workshops, online training, or other educational circumstances and testing needed to 1 obtain or maintain required certification, licenses, or endorsements is considered time worked 2 and will be compensated as such. Employees shall provide notification to the department 3 director or principal and obtain written approval prior to attending 7 ARTICLE VIII 8
Section 7.14.1. 17 The employee shall notify the Director of Human Resources of their request for 18 temporary disability leave. If possible, such notification shall be made at least sixty 19 (60) calendar days prior to the proposed starting date of the leave. The District may 20 require a doctor's certification that the leave should be granted and that the employee is 21 able to continue to work, prior to the temporary disability leave request, without 22 jeopardizing the employee's health or the safety of others.
Section 7.14.1. 10 The employee shall notify their immediate supervisor and the Food Service office of 11 their request for Temporary Disability Leave. If possible, such notification shall be 12 made at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the proposed starting date of the leave.
