Temporary Wiring. Upon Work cover approval, the Union will introduce a course on Electrical Installations, Construction and Demolition sites and will have it run by the Electro Group Training Company. This course will offer to Companies who have a registered Enterprise Agreement with the Union, the opportunity to become accredited Temporary Wiring Contractor License holders. All employees who have done the course shall receive a Wiring Allowance of $20.00 per week for each week they work or part of the week on the installing/maintenance of a temporary wiring system.
Temporary Wiring. The installation, maintaining, connecting, shifting, or repairing of all wiring for temporary lighting, heating and power and the maintenance, when necessary, for pumps, fans, blowers, and other electrical equipment used for construction of buildings, in new buildings under construction, or old buildings undergoing alteration, etc… shall be in possession of men working under the terms of this Agreement.
