The Interconnection Clause Samples
The Interconnection clause defines the terms and conditions under which two or more parties' systems, networks, or services are linked to enable communication or data exchange. Typically, this clause outlines technical requirements, responsibilities for maintaining the connection, and procedures for resolving issues that may arise from the interconnection. Its core practical function is to ensure seamless and reliable interoperability between different parties' infrastructures, thereby minimizing disruptions and clarifying obligations related to the shared connection.
The Interconnection. System Impact Study will be based upon the results of the Interconnection Feasibility Study and the technical information provided by Interconnection Customer in the Interconnection Request, subject to any modifications in accordance with Section 4.4 of the LGIP. Transmission Provider reserves the right to request additional technical information from Interconnection Customer as may reasonably become necessary consistent with Good Utility Practice during the course of the Interconnection Customer System Impact Study. If Interconnection Customer modifies its designated Point of Interconnection, Interconnection Request, or the technical information provided therein is modified, the time to complete the Interconnection System Impact Study may be extended.
The Interconnection. Metering Point shall be located at the substation of Transco / Discom, and generating company shall bear the cost for construction of interconnection / metering facilities upto the point of connectivity.
The Interconnection. System Impact Study report will list Contingent Facilities in an appendix, which will include: (a) a description of each Contingent Facility; and (b) the Interconnection Request, transmission service request or planned project for which the Contingent Facility was initially required. This list of Contingent Facilities is subject to updates if a System Impact Study is Re-Studied pursuant to Section 7.6.
The Interconnection. System Reliability Impact Study will be based upon the results of the Interconnection Feasibility Study, if conducted, and the technical information provided by Developer in the Interconnection Request, subject to any modifications in accordance with Section 30.4.4 of the LFIP. NYISO reserves the right to request additional information from Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner as may reasonably become necessary consistent with Good Utility Practice during the course of the SRIS and such additional information shall be provided in a prompt manner. If Developer modifies its designated Point of Interconnection, or the technical information provided in the Interconnection Request is modified, the time to complete the Interconnection System Reliability Impact Study may be extended.
The Interconnection. Facilities Study report (i) shall provide a description, estimated cost of (consistent with Attachment A), schedule for required facilities to interconnect the Large Generating Facility to the Transmission System and (ii) shall address the short circuit, instability, and power flow issues identified in the most recently published System Impact Study.
The Interconnection. Point[s]
3.1 The Customer is entitled pursuant to this Agreement to use for withdrawal of natural gas from the Storage Facility the Interconnection Point with [MISSING DATA TO BE INSERTED]. The Customer is entitled pursuant to this Agreement to use for injection of natural gas into the Storage Facility the Interconnection Point with [MISSING DATA TO BE INSERTED].
3.2 If the use of the Storage Services by the Customer leads to fees for the cross-border use of storage facilities pursuant to the valid E-Control Regulation Commission Ordinance setting the Natural Gas System Charges (Gas System Charges Ordinance 2013) as may be amended from time to time, these fees shall be paid by the Customer. The Customer does not bear cross-border fees which may arise from initial or final title transfers with the SSO under this Agreement and the Purchase Agreement attached in the Annex No. 2 hereto.
3.3 For every natural gas quantity injected to the Storage Facility from the Interconnection Point with the Virtual Trading Point Austria (and also for transferred natural gas quantities that have been previously injected from the Interconnection Point with the Virtual Trading Point Austria) and consequently withdrawn to the Interconnection Point with the Transmission System the SSO shall apply an additional charge as published in the SSO’s Price List.
3.2 If the use of the Storage Services according to the clauses 2.1.1 b) and 2.1.
The Interconnection. The Interconnection will consist of components to be owned by JEA (“JEA-Owned Components”) and components to be owned by the County (“County- owned Components”), as depicted in Exhibit C hereto and as summarized below: Meter Vault, 8-inch magnetic flow meter, and all valves, piping and appurtenances located within the meter vault and north of the meter vault. All valves, piping and appurtenances installed south of the meter vault, including but not limited to 6-inch by 6-inch tapping sleeve and valve, 6-inch mechanical joint 90 degree bend, 6-inch by 8-inch mechanical joint reducer, and 8-inch DR 18 PVC water main located south of water meter vault. The Interconnection shall be located on the east side of the Coastal Highway right of way, near the property line between 4450 and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The Interconnection shall consist of a 8” magnetic flow meter and vault installed on JEA’s existing10” PVC water main and shall connect to the parallel existing County 6” PVC water main utilizing a wet tap and appropriate piping and valving. The County is responsible for designing, engineering, constructing, installing, and inspecting the Interconnection at its sole cost and expense, including project management, contract administration, construction engineering and inspection, and all material and equipment necessary to connect the ▇▇▇▇▇ de ▇▇▇▇ Grid and the North Beach System. Notwithstanding the foregoing, JEA may choose to provide appropriate materials, and installation at their convenience to facilitate the Interconnect, the cost for which shall be mutually agreed to between the parties prior to commencement, and which shall be reimbursable to JEA from the County. JEA may choose to provide additional inspection of work to be performed on the ▇▇▇▇▇ de ▇▇▇▇ Grid at its cost and expense. Prior to construction and installation, the County shall prepare, or have prepared, design drawing based on the specifications noted in this section for the emergency interconnect and provide the design drawings to JEA for review and approval. All materials used for the construction of the Interconnection from the Meter to the point of connection to the ▇▇▇▇▇ de ▇▇▇▇ Grid, as generally depicted in Exhibit C, shall meet the list of approved materials in the JEA Water and Wastewater Standards in effect at the time of construction. The County shall require all contractors performing work on or within JEA right-of-way, easement, or other JEA-owned property to procure and maintain...
