Broadbanding. The Union recognizes the right of the state to develop, for the use of all state agencies, a classification and compensation program in furtherance of section 110.2035, Florida Statutes. Nothing in this part shall constitute a waiver of the Association’s rights under Chapter 447, Florida Statutes.
Broadbanding. A. The State shall not establish a broadband class pursuant to Government Code Section 18523 without mutual agreement between the Department of Personnel Administration and the Union. B. Broadband classes are classifications with the same general title may be used to designate each position allocated to the class and which may include more than one level or more than one specialty area within the same general field or work. In addition to the minimum qualifications for each broadband class, other job related qualifications may be required for particular positions within the class. When a broadband class is established, these levels and specialty areas shall be described in the class specification, and any instances in which these levels and specialty areas are to be treated as separate classes for the purposes of applying other provisions of law. 105 BU 19 (01-03)
Broadbanding. 28.1 The Chief Executive Officer may convert a position to a broadband of two classification levels where: (a) the duties of the position genuinely span more than one level; or (b) there is capacity for the duties of the position to expand to take on higher-level responsibilities appropriate to a higher classification level as the occupant of the position becomes more highly skilled and experienced.
Broadbanding. Broadbanding involves a position being assigned across more than one Salary Level, as described in Schedule 4 of the Agreement, allowing for progression from one level to the next, if certain criteria are met.

Broadbanding. (1) Advancement from one classification to another in the Austrade broadband will only occur where: (a) an employee’s performance is at least satisfactory; (b) there is sufficient work available at the higher classification level; and (c) the employee has the necessary skills and proficiencies to perform that work in accordance with the work level standards for that classification. (1) The APS Work Level Standards continue to operate and describe the work at each of the classification levels in this Agreement, consistent with the Public Service Classification Rules 2000 (PS Classification Rules), made in accordance with section 23 of the PS Act.
Broadbanding. Employees with the following local titles are broadbanded across the APS classification structure as follows: Legal 1 APS4, 5, 6, Executive Level 1 Public Affairs 1 APS4, 5 Entry Level (Commission Graduates, Trainees and Cadets) APS1, 2, 3, 4 Quality Assessor/Senior Quality Assessor APS5,6 102. The following local titles are included in the Entry Level Broadband:
Broadbanding. Staff will move to this broadbanding arrangement on the date of their next increment movement on or after 5 March 2009 subject to meeting the criteria in clause 25 (Incremental salary progression). Broadbanding. 34.1. Broadbanding refers to combining different APS classification levels into one level. The Chair may approve a broadband of all or part of the ACMA classification structure to suit operational requirements. The provisions of clause 34.2 are subject to any classification rules made by the Australian Public Service Commissioner. 34.2. This Agreement provides for the following broadbanded arrangements: a) ACMA 1 and 2 (APS Levels 1 and 2); b) ACMA 3 and 4 (APS Levels 3 and 4); c) ACMA 5 and 6 (APS Levels 5 and 6); d) Lawyer (APS ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ and APS Level 6) and Senior Lawyer (Executive Level 1); e) Information Communications Technology Officer 5 and 6 (APS Levels 5 and 6); f) Cadet Engineer ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ (▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ 3 and 4) g) Engineers Levels 5 and 6 (APS Levels 5 and 6); h) Trainee Technical Officers and Technical Officers ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ (▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ 3 and 4); i) Technical Officers Levels 5 and 6 (APS Levels 5 and 6); and j) Graduate 1 (APS Levels 3 and 4).
Broadbanding. 22.1 Staff with the following local titles are broadbanded across the APS classification structure as follows: Legal 1 APS 4, 5, 6, Executive Level 1 Research Scientist APS 6, Executive Level 1 Professional 1 APS 3, 4, 5 Public Affairs 1 APS 4, 5 Research 1 APS 2, 3 22.2 Certain classifications and local titles have specific provisions available to them, as outlined in clauses 22.3 to 22.4. Legal 1 – determination of salary‌ 22.3 On promotion, automatic advancement, movement or engagement to a Legal 1, a Staff member will be paid at the minimum pay point unless: a) the Secretary determines otherwise; or b) on engagement the Staff member has been admitted as a practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of a State or Territory; and i. the Staff member has served under articles of clerkship for a period of not less than one year; or ii. before being so admitted, the Staff member successfully completed a course of training in the Legal Workshop conducted by the Faculty of Law at the Australian National University or a comparable course in Australia; or iii. the Staff member has gained experience which, in the opinion of the Secretary, is equivalent to the experience of a person who has satisfied (i) or (ii).
