Determination of Salary. The salaries of salaried employees are set and reviewed in accordance with the provisions of the Salary Agreement and Appendices. All salaried employees are paid a monthly salary. Outplaced salaried employees are paid a monthly salary and performance pay.

Determination of Salary. Resident and Fellow salary is based on post-graduate year (PGY) in the program. PGY is determined by the training required to enter that program and the year of training in that program. PGY is determined by program leadership in consultation with the Office of Graduate Medical Education. A Resident or Fellow who, during the term of this Agreement, successfully completes his or her services for a year and is reappointed to serve for an additional year in that particular program shall be advanced to the next higher PGY in that program. In programs where there are two or three assigned Chiefs, each Chief will be paid at the rate of their PGY plus a differential of the next PGY level divided by the number of Chiefs. In programs with four or more Chiefs assigned, the differential amount will be based on two PGY levels above divided by the number of Chiefs, with each Chief being paid a minimum of $675 dollars additional per year. 4. The Residents Salary will begin no later than the first day of orientation.
