If paid by direct bank deposit, the Employer must deposit the pay in the employee’s bank account by end of the work shift on Thursday of each week. The employees will be issued pay stubs on Thursday of each week with all deductions shown. When a holiday falls on Friday, the employees shall be paid by cheque or direct bank deposit on Wednesday or by cash on Thursday. If cheques fail to arrive in time, then sufficient time or suitable arrangements must be made to cash same, If cheques and/or cash are mailed or sent by other means of transportation and are not received on time as specified above, then two (2) hours pay will be added to the employees pay. Room and Board, traveling time or any expenses incurred in traveling shall not be deducted from the hourly rate of pay.

To resolve any disputes, the parties will ask the Rent Control Commission to rule, notwithstanding its lack of jurisdiction. If the Rent Control Commission declines to rule, the parties will agree to an Arbitrator or some other party to adjudicate the dispute based on the rules and regulations of the Rent Control Commission.

The Company will allow shorts to be worn by employees issued as part of the uniform by the Company. The Company reserves the right to define the standard of shorts to be worn. Upon receipt of proof of purchase of approved footwear, an employee shall be reimbursed up to a maximum of per calendar year For those Ramp employees who have not been assigned a new parka within the last year the Company will assign them a new parka following the date of ratification. These parkas will remain the property of Bearskin Airlines and will be returned to the Company when an employee leaves the Company.
