PAY CONDITIONS. Section 1. An employee shall be paid at least once a week, on an hourly basis, and in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Employers may pay employees utilizing a paycheck or direct deposit. Paychecks and or paystubs shall be distributed by the Employer on a regular established payday, and no more than one week’s pay held back. Online paystubs must be available for print on payday. If an employee is not paid by the end of the shift of the regular payday, the Employer shall pay a penalty for all waiting time. The penalty shall be eight (8) straight time hours of pay per calendar day to the employee until the employee has been paid in full. The above penalty shall not apply where the Employer’s failure to pay is due to circumstances beyond the Employer’s control. Section 2. An employee who is laid off, discharged, or who resigns shall be paid in full for his services in accordance with State law. If the Employer requires any employee on a job site to pick up his check at the employer’s place of business, he will be compensated in full for his time and mileage at straight time pay. (a) The Union shall have the right to inspect the paycheck of any employee covered by this Agreement after a paycheck has been returned by the bank. (b) The Union shall have the right to inspect and review at a reasonable time, during working hours, at the Employer's premises, or any location where the Employer's records are maintained, all payroll records and time sheets and all other records, papers, or documents of the Employer which relate to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. In the event the results of such inspection or audit establish that the Employer has violated any wage payment, or Trust Fund contributions, or any term or condition of this Agreement, the Employer shall be liable for the costs of such audit, including legal and accounting fees. Section 4. The Employer shall have available records setting forth the number of hours worked, and complete individual payroll information for each employee on a quarterly basis and will submit time records on specific jobs when requested, and punched time cards or time sheets filled out and signed by the employee. Section 5. If an Employer pays an employee by check, draft, or voucher, an such check, draft, or voucher is subsequently refused payment because the Employer has insufficient funds on deposit or no account with the bank or institution, in which case the employee shall receive his regular straight time p...
PAY CONDITIONS. The use of payment by time or incentive pay systems should be applied locally in a way which will promote to the greatest possible extent the productivity, competitiveness, and consequently also the employment opportunities, of the individual company.
PAY CONDITIONS. Section A. Pay Day 1. Wages shall be paid on or before quitting time each Wednesday, or a day mutually agreed upon by the Union and the Employer and shall include all monies due up to and including the preceding work week. In no circumstance shall pay day be more than three (3) working days following the end of the preceding work week. 2. Neither the Company, nor the agent of the Union, or an employee covered by this Agreement, shall give or accept, directly or indirectly any rebate of wages. Section 5. Records, verified by each employee, shall be kept by the Company for a period of ninety days, showing the individual straight and overtime hours worked under this Agreement. Said record shall be subject to examination by an authorized representative by the Union at any reasonable time or times during regular working hours by the Union.

When paying wages, the Employer shall furnish the employee a detachable pay stub segregating the overtime hours, straight time hours, list each deduction and show what they are for. Section 2. Employees shall receive a paycheck at least once every week. No more than three (3) days pay may be held back on each pay period. A. Any employee discharged for just cause shall receive pay for actual time spent on the job. Any employee who is discharged shall be paid in full on the job site at the time of discharge. Failure on the Employer's part to comply shall result in the employee being paid his regular scale of wages for total time spent waiting for his paycheck. In the event an employee is discharged for drunkenness, the above waiting time shall not apply. B. An employee shall, within forty-eight (48) hours, report any shortages in wages to the Union, weekends and Holidays excluded. C. Out of area Employers must make arrangements for the cashing of paychecks issued on payment of wages at no cost to the employee. Any non-negotiable check issued by an Employer for wages shall be deemed as delinquent wages and shall be collected in accordance with the procedure established elsewhere in this Agreement as follows: D. It is agreed the Union may take whatever action it deems necessary in collecting delinquent wages and fringes, and the Employer who is delinquent shall be liable for any costs incurred by the Union during the enforcement of this Section, including but not limited to court costs and attorney fees. E. Any no-strike or arbitration clause contained elsewhere in this Agreement shall not apply to the collection of delinquent wages and/or fringe benefits by the Union. Section 3. The wage rates, wage increases and Employer contributions shall become effective with the Employer's first (1st) payroll period following the date applicable.
PAY CONDITIONS. The drivers and garage and yard employees shall be paid weekly, unless mutually agreed otherwise. However, the Employer may have a holdback of two (2) one (1) week subject to approval of the appropriate Area Joint Arbitration Committee.
