Prohibited and Restricted Items Clause Samples

The "Prohibited and Restricted Items" clause defines which goods or materials are not allowed or are subject to special limitations under an agreement or within a particular context, such as shipping, sales, or use. This clause typically lists specific items—such as hazardous materials, illegal substances, or regulated products—that cannot be included, transported, or handled, and may outline procedures for handling exceptions or obtaining necessary permissions. Its core function is to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, protect parties from legal liability, and maintain safety by clearly identifying items that are not permitted or require special handling.
