UNION LABELS. All uniforms and work clothing issued by the Employer to CUPE personnel shall bear a recognized union label. Exceptions will require the mutual agreement of the Union and the Employer. This does not include personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to: safety glasses, goggles, hearing protection, respirators, hard hats and work gloves. However, the Employer will make reasonable efforts to purchase such equipment that is union made and/or Canadian made provided quality, cost and availability are comparable.
UNION LABELS. On Union jobsites the Union, while retaining ultimate control of the International’s Labels, may supply to the Employer, Union Labels to identify fair products fabricated under the terms of this Agreement.

UNION LABELS. A. When requested by a Business Representative of the Union, union labels will be placed on materials fabricated by union members, employees of the employer, or by an employee designated by the Union at the expense of the employer. B. Union labels used on materials fabricated within the territorial jurisdiction of SMART Local Union No. 359 will be supplied at no cost to the employer by Local Union No. 359.
UNION LABELS. During compliance with all of the provisions of this agreement, the Company shall display the appropriate union label of the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association on all items produced exclusively under the terms of this agreement. The Company agrees that all union labels shall be the property of the Union and said permission to display the union label may be revoked by the Union for causes the Union deems adequate. There will be a logbook kept of the union label on the products and the location and the Company’s names. The log book will be acquired and maintained solely by the Stewards.
UNION LABELS. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for an employee to post the Teamster's Union Label in a conspicuous place in the cab of the vehicle or equipment he is operating. The said label to be of a size in excess of three inches by four inches (3" x 4"). Said label not to be attached to any glass area.

The Blue Label may identify Production Rate Material, ie. as per Article 6.

  • Union Stewards (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Union stewards to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement. (c) The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of Union stewards appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. (d) It is agreed that Union stewards have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. If, in the performance of his duties, a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is required to enter an area within the Hospital in which he is not originally employed, he shall report his presence to the supervisor in the area immediately upon entering it. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When resuming his regular duties and responsibilities, such ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall again report to his immediate supervisor. A Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent in performing the above duties during his regular scheduled working hours. (e) Nothing in this Article shall preclude full-time stewards from representing part-time employees and vice-versa. (f) The number of stewards and the areas which they represent, are to be determined locally.

  • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the first quarter.
