Work Schedule Options. The following work schedules are available at the Agency: (1) Standard/Regular (Straight-8 or 5/8) Work Schedule (fixed) (2) Compressed Work Schedules (a fixed alternative work schedule) (a) 5-4/9 Work Schedule (a fixed alternative work schedule) (b) 4-10 Work Schedule (a fixed alternative work schedule) (3) Maxiflex Work Schedule (a flexible alternative work schedule)
Work Schedule Options. Each of the two employees in a job-sharing arrangement will be required to fulfill one-half (1/2) of the full-time work schedule requirements averaged over a maximum of two (2) complete bi-weekly pay periods. The following are the work schedule options: (a) One (1) week on, one (1) week off ;or (b) Three (3) days one week and two (2) days the next week as outlined in the application. Option (a) is the only option available for EAs, STA and SIW.

Work Schedule Options. Work schedule options will be administered in accordance with agency policy, Administrative Directive P-600 (Hours of Duty), and federal laws and regulations, including 5 C.F.R. 610. The Agency offers a "traditional" work schedule and two alternative work schedules: (a) Traditional Work Schedule Under this option, an employee works the official public hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Features such as credit hours and flex-in/flex-out are not available under this option. This option is the agency's default tour of duty -- the employee or supervisor need not take any action for this option. With supervisory approval, an employee may select a traditional eight-hour tour of duty other than 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tours of duty under this option shall begin no earlier than 6:00 a.m. (revised 7/15/2005) and end no later than 6:00 p.m. (b) AWS Option 1: 5-4/9 Compressed Work Schedule Under this option, an employee may request and a supervisor may approve a schedule where the employee works nine hours on eight days each pay period and eight hours on one day each pay period with one day off every pay period. A scheduled day off and tour of duty must be established and agreed upon by the employee and his/her supervisor. Features such as credit hours and flex-in/out are not available under this option. Tours of duty under this option shall begin no earlier than 6:00 a.m. and end no later than 6:30 p.m. (revised 7/15/2005). (c) AWS Option 2: Flexitour Under this option, an employee may request and a supervisor may approve a schedule where the employee works a fixed tour of duty for eight hours a day, five days a week, including but not necessarily the official hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tours of duty under this option shall begin no earlier than 6:00 a.m. (revised 7/15/2005) and end no later than 6:30 p.m. (revised 7/15/2005). Unlike the traditional or the compressed work schedule, the flexitour option provides two methods for variance from the fixed eight-hour tour of duty: (1) Flex-in/Flex-out Subject to prior supervisory approval in each instance, employees under a flexitour schedule may flex in and out for a single period of one hour during the workday, provided the employee works his or her full number of duty hours that day, or is placed in the appropriate leave category. Work Schedule Options. The work schedule options described in this Section apply to full- time employees with a basic work requirement of eighty (80) hours per pay period. Work schedules for part- time employees are defined in Section 19.06.

Work Schedule Options. 1. Each employee must have in place a work schedule approved by the immediate supervisor. Supervisors must consider employee work schedule requests that are made in accordance with Section G. below. In cases where an alternate work schedule is not approved, the employee will work a standard work schedule as defined in the Article. Work Schedule Options. The work schedule options described in this Section apply to full time employees with a basic work requirement of 80 hours per pay period. Work schedules for part-time employees are defined in Section 19.06. The following work schedules are available: (1) Basic 40 Hour Work Schedule – This fixed schedule consists of work on each working day of the pay period and the working hours on each day are the same (8 hours per day, Monday through Friday). The non-overtime workday consists of eight hours. (a) Employees on Basic 40 Hour Work Schedules: i. Will establish an individual tour of duty within available work hours (as defined in Section 19.02) which establishes the days worked during the pay period and working hours for each day. ii. May not vary their work schedules or individual tours of duty outside of the procedures established in this Article. iii. May not earn credit hours. iv. Earn holiday pay for the number of hours they are normally scheduled for that day for federal holidays when no work is performed.
