Design Engineering Services. The COUNTY and the ROAD DISTRICT agree to have all design engineering services for ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road Bridge performed necessary for ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road to be accepted by the ROAD DISTRICT, including, but not limited to surveying, pavement and soil analysis, stormwater drainage analysis, roadway design, structural design, preparing plans and specifications for contract bidding and utility coordination, subject to the following:
a. The ROAD DISTRICT agrees to retain the services of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ & Associates, ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Suite 200, Itasca, Illinois 60143, an engineering firm prequalified by IDOT;
b. The ROAD DISTRICT shall provide copies of all design engineering studies, reports and plans to the COUNTY within fourteen (14) days of receipt for input and recommendations;
c. The COUNTY and the ROAD DISTRICT shall meet onsite at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road with a representative (or representatives) from Venetian Gardens Subdivision and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ & Associates prior to finalization of the design engineering plans; and,
d. Final design engineering plans shall be subject to COUNTY approval.
Design Engineering Services. 1.1.1 Consult with Utility Companies and provide information to them regarding the proposed construction.
Design Engineering Services. During the design and engineering stage of the Project, the City will consult with the Authority on the design and engineering of the Project. The Project shall be designed and engineered in a manner consistent with any applicable federal or state statutes pertaining to asbestos abatement and the disposition of other hazardous materials. Prior to completion of final design and again prior to bid solicitation of any portion of the Project, the City will submit the draft final design or draft bid documents, as applicable, to the Authority for review and comment. Upon final approval by both parties, the City will bid the project.
Design Engineering Services. The A/E will review the program furnished by the Owner to ascertain the requirements of the Project and will arrive at mutual understanding of such requirements with the Owner.

Construction Documents Interstate Engineering will arrange a meeting with the City of ▇▇▇▇▇▇, the local Pickleball Group, the local Tennis Group, and any other interested groups identified by the City of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (Stakeholders) to discuss a desired layout for the pickleball/tennis courts. The City of Sidney will communicate directly with the local Groups. Constructing the pickleball/tennis courts in two (2) Phases, as shown on Exhibit A, will be discussed.

The types of design engineering services that may be required and included within task orders include the following: • Conducting project planning studies, engineering studies and/or preparing engineering designs for a variety of infrastructure improvements including, , roadway reconstruction, intersection modifications, roadway improvements, such as curbs, gutters, sidewalks, retaining walls, etc., drainage improvements, roadway striping layout, revegetation, stream environment zone restoration, roadway safety structures, roundabouts, traffic signals, traffic studies, erosion control facilities, bikeway improvements, multi-use trail design (Class I and Class II) and/or design of other public works facilities generally associated with the existing County road system. • Preparing construction plans, specifications, and project design reports in English units, in accordance with current standards developed by the American Association of State highway and Transportation Officials, the California Department of Transportation (“Caltrans”) and the Federal Highway Administration. • Providing the County with project phase programming information, including, , information pertaining to project inception, design, environmental, right-of- way and construction phases, as required by Caltrans and the Federal Highways Administration. • Coordinating survey tasks, including, , scheduling ground and aerial topographic, boundary and construction stakeout surveys, document preparation and title reviews and providing record as-built drawings of the completed work. • Preparing project specific Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal calculations and certification verifications for both the federal and state programs. • Consulting with Caltrans staff regarding compliance with applicable Caltrans Local Assistance Program requirements as directed by the County. • Scheduling and facilitating meetings with stakeholders, including, , providing a central point of contact for open, transparent, and efficient communication, identifying appropriate meeting venues, developing meeting agendas, providing audio- visual equipment, ensuring that meetings stay on schedule and on topic and preparing written meeting minutes. • Contacting landowners regarding construction activities and scheduling and/or contractual issues. • Ensuring that all applicable construction plans, specifications, and project designs comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Design Guidelines and Stand...
Design Engineering Services. The ENGINEER shall conduct necessary legal surveys, topographic surveys and gather field data required in developing the right-of-way plats and for the design and preparation of construction plans, specifications and contract documents.

1.1.3. Conduct testing of existing runway base and subbase materials to determine alternatives for design. Consult with FAA pavements engineers to ensure selected materials and methods for construction meet current FAA design standards and technical guidelines.

1.1.4. Assist the OWNER in the preparation and submission of all AIP forms, documents, and reports to comply with all conditions of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant.
1.1.5. Design and prepare working drawings and specifications for the project in accordance with the

Include Engineer’s Design Report to include pavement design, Safety Plan/Requirements for Contractor Safety Plan, Detailed Cost Opinion and description of all modifications to FAA Standard Specifications.
1.1.7. Review final plans and specifications with OWNER. Submit final plans and specifications for FAA review and approval. Include Safety Plan/Requirements for Contractor Safety Plan, Updated Cost Opinion (if changes occur) and Construction Observation Program (COP).
1.1.8. Assist in advertising the project to contractors. Provide bid documents to those Contractors interested at cost. Attend the bid letting, prepare Engineer’s Estimate, assist and advise the OWNER in opening bids, awarding construction contract and contract preparation. Furnish Tabulation of Bids to OWNER and FAA.
1.1.9. Assist OWNER in preparing and submitting Grant Application to the FAA.
