Educational Goals and Objectives. The goals and objectives shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties. With the cooperation of FACILITY, Students will rotate with FACILITY staff members.
Educational Goals and Objectives. Assignment of residents/fellows to AFFILIATE will contribute to their education by achieving the Goals and Objectives attached as Exhibit I. The AFFILIATE agrees to provide the resources necessary to meet these educational goals and objectives, and will monitor success in achieving them.

a) Performing Agency will train residents how to:
1) assess patients for possible admission to the state hospitals;
2) perform a psychiatric interview and diagnostic evaluation;
3) collaborate with other mental health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting;
4) develop an appropriate treatment plan in conjunction with the clinical team;
5) provide psychiatric care to patients; and
6) treat serious co-morbid medical conditions inpatients in psychiatric inpatient settings.
b) Performing Agency will teach methods, occurring in the public healthcare setting, through both direct and indirect supervision. The direct supervision includes immediate availability to a supervising psychiatrist who will be physically located within the setting. Residents rotating in a state hospital will be directly supervised by a state hospital psychiatrist. Residents rotating in a community clinic will be directly supervised by a community clinic psychiatrist. For the avoidance of doubt, a Facility shall not be responsible for providing direct supervision to a Resident(s) rotating at another Facility’s site. The supervising physician shall provide review and feedback after the following practices occur:

2) encounters;
3) documentation; and
4) delivery of aftercare by the Resident(s).
d) Conduct training in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Common Program Requirements, VI. Resident Duty Hours and Working and Learning Environment, effective July 1, 2019.
