Meal Orders. The CE will order meals on ** of the week preceding the week of delivery; orders will be placed for the total number of operating days in the succeeding week, and will include breakdown totals for each site and each type of meal. The CE reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of meals ordered on a *** hour notice, or less if mutually agreed upon between the parties to this contract. ** Insert mutually agreed day. *** CE shall insert appropriate number of hours.
Meal Orders. These Terms apply to Products that you order through the Mom’s Meals.
Meal Orders. A. The Sponsor will provide an estimate of daily orders per site within one month of the start of service. The range of servings is estimated. The Sponsor is prohibited from ordering more meals than the CAP imposed by the USDA and absolves the Contractor from any pecuniary liability if meals ordered surpass current CAP which excesses is subsequently disallowed by USDA for reimbursement. B. Sponsor will provide Contractor with final meal site projections weekly on Wednesdays by 5pm but no later than 72 hours as mutually agreed. Meal orders not finalized by the specified time may be subject to fees. Sponsor will be responsible for emailing Contractor a final spreadsheet of each lunch sites final orders and field trips by the order deadline and entering into Contractor online order system. Sponsor is solely responsible for the accuracy of each site’s final lunch orders included in this final spreadsheet regardless of human or technical error. Contractor will prepare unitized meals based on the lunch orders included in the final spreadsheet, and as such will be entitled to reimbursement for each compliant lunch prepared and delivered in accordance with Sponsor’s final lunch orders by site. The Spreadsheet will be named using the following format: DCYFmmddyyyyFINAL where mmddyyyy is the meal service date. The Sponsor and Contractor will work together to mutually agree on the best checks and balances system for ordering and conformation of orders. In the event that Sponsor receives last minute cancellations from a site, they will inform the Contractor immediately. The Contractor will make all efforts to accommodate these changes, without charging sponsor for the meals, if possible. Late orders are subject to product availability and may incur a fee. Contractor and Sponsor will work together to come an agreement that is mutually agreeable to both parties in such situations. C. Sites will have the option of ordering vegetarian options for their sites as a part of their total meal requests. The unit price of these meals will be the same as for all other meals served during the week. The vegetarian options for each day will be the same price as the general menu items. Meal Orders. Township shall advise WSD in advance of any change to the number of meals, either an increase or decrease to the daily meal order as follows:
Meal Orders. 5.1.1. Menu offerings may be subject to change with little or no notice based on product availability, supply chain disruptions, or when quality inspections by Vendor deem an offering not acceptable. 5.1.2. No later than the 10th of each month, Vendor will provide School Food Authority a monthly menu consisting of all meals offered for the following month. Menus will be emailed to those contacts identified by School Food Authority. School Food Authority is responsible for sharing the menu(s) with its students and families. 5.1.3. Preferred meal orders for the following month are due by the 15th of current month. • If no preferred meal orders are placed by the 21st of the current month, Vendor’s Customer Service will place meal orders on behalf of the School Food Authority based on current month average order volumes.

When an emergency situation exists which might prevent the contractor from delivering a specified meal component, the sponsor shall be notified immediately so substitutions can be agreed upon. The sponsor reserves the right to suggest menu changes within the vendor’s suggested food cost, periodically throughout the contract period. Noncompliance The sponsor reserves the right to inspect and determine the quality of food and reject any meals which do not comply with the requirements and specifications of the contract. The contractor will not be paid for unauthorized menu changes, incomplete meals, rejected meals not delivered within the specified delivery time period, and meals rejected because they do not comply with the specifications. The sponsor reserves the right to obtain meals from other sources, if meals are rejected due to any of the stated reasons. The contractor will be responsible for any excess cost, but will receive no adjustment in the event the meals are procured at lesser cost. The sponsor or inspecting agent shall notify the contractor in writing as to the number of meals rejected and the reasons for rejection. Such notice must be provided to vendor by end of business Tuesday for preceding week. The SFSP regulations provide that statistical sampling methods may be used to disallow payments for meals which are not served in compliance with program regulations. In the event that disallowances are made on the basis of statistical sampling, the sponsor and the contractor will be notified in writing by the administering agency as to the number of meals disallowed, the reasons for disallowance, and the methodology of the statistical sampling procedures employed. Hot Meal Unit – Package suitable for maintaining meals in accordance with local health standards. Container and overlay should have an air-tight closure, be of non-toxic material, and be capable of withstanding temperatures of 400° (204° C) or higher.
